    Good luck with the ET QQ - bet you can't wait until they're safely in there, then you'll have done everything you can except for relax during the 2ww.

    ++++++++

    JuJu - I hope you're completely wrong - and at the end of the day, you just can't tell!

    +++++++++

    I'll be testing on Weds, assuming AF hasn't arrived first. Off to Midlands Fertility today - can't wait to get that over with too. I have a feeling they are going to try to extract cash for a fertility work-up (290 quid) off us on top of the 175 quid we have paid for a consultation and the 335 quid (plus VAT) that I'm expecting to pay for the HyCoSy - I will resist, I have had all the tests done on the NHS, I don't need anything except a HyCoSy, which the NHS won't give me!

    ++++++++

    I'm still 1 pound over what I said I was on the paperwork - oh well.

    I did buy some new trousers from Monsoon yesterday - size 14! This is progress!

    ++++++++

    I know I need to lose more weight, and I am working on it. But deep down I find it hard to believe, when all the hormone tests are normal and my cycle is regular, that my weight is really the problem.

    Especially when I watched several episodes of Jamie's American Food Revolution on Catchup TV yesterday, and watched the many elephantine women featured with their pre-schoolers.

    Why is it that being 100+ pounds overweight hasn't rendered them infertile?

    I know what you mean chickpea. I spent a couple of thousand pounds on my miracle diet to get to a normal BMI because it was the only thing left the doctors had to suggest that might be wrong. And I still miscarried!

    Anyone have any experience with the Zhai clinic? We did a feature on them a few years ago and they have amazing success rate with post-ivf and iv-unsuitable couples. I think we might pay them a visit. It's a mix of western and Chinese medicine. This far down the line I think I might give something other than western medicine a go. They allegedly concentrate on egg quality, which I suppose must be my problem...

    Had a few slight cramps, slightly higher temp, sore breasts and lots of clear discharge (sorry TMI), could all be AF signs.

    No that all sounds very encouraging. Copious discharge is really common in the first few months of pregnancy. TMI but you sometimes literally feel it running out which is one of the reasons why there is lots of knickers checking in early pregnancy, because it often feels like bleeding has started. Cramps start before AF is due and continue for about 8-10 weeks as everything stretches and loosens up, and organs move out of the way to let your uterus move up. Temp goes down not up when AF is due, and sore breasts can be a sign of either.

    As I'm not currently ttc I'll keep everything firmly crossed for you for the next few days until test day!

    Thanks for the encouraging comments, lets hope its all good signs. I am not sure if the discharge is just the progestrone gel coming out but it seems to be more in the last few days.

    I am now day 11 and will probably test after the long weekend as I don't want any false positives.

    Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone else.

    3 eggs made it, so I had them all transferred!:j (Non frozen).

    One was of excellent quality 8 cell (grade 1 or something) and the other two 5 & 4 cell were not so good:o They gave me a photo, and the 8 cell one does look pretty good, but others :shocked:

    It was painless, like a smear test, but had to stay in bed for 4 hrs afterwards:shocked: Had to use bedpan 3 times + catheter right after the op:p

    I'm fine now, in the dreaded 2ww...:whistle:
