The doctor studied at Charing Cross Hospital in London (but is Singaporian)
I also have to inject hcg shots at 3, 6 & 9DPO, so I'm never going to be able to test:(

Congrats on the embabies' transfer QQ, sounds encouraging. I hope at least one hangs on in there.

    ++++++

We missed the royal wedding and went to Midlands Fertility instead yesterday. I'd have preferred watching the wedding, I didn't get a warm feeling from the clinic.

The consultant we saw was very patronising and more or less dismissed my chances of natural conception. She tried to insist that I have the hormone tests done again, even tho I had them done as recently as Dec on the NHS and all was fine. I don't see the point when we're not going to get any treatment anyway, so I resisted.

She did the AMH test and I have to call on CD1 to arrange an appointment for a HyCoSy mid-cycle.

The whole experience will cost £600ish. At least we won't need to go back after that.

I'll just have to resign myself to a one-child family, Chinese-style, if it doesn't happen. I can live with that. At the end of the day though, I want the HyCoSy because I'd find it easier to live with my infertility being the result of bad luck, age or the will of god than a simple mechanical problem that could be easily fixed.

Good luck getting through the 2ww. I'm CD27, I tested though and it's -ve. I know it might still be early but I think it's a no this month anyway.

Just for comparing notes, which medications did you have to take after ET?

Mine is antibiotics since ER for 5 days (3 times a day).
    Progesterone suppositories twice a day.
    Estrogen pills twice a day
    Hcg shot at 3, 6 & 9 DPO.

    It seems somewhat a lot:huh:

    Thanks, hope so too:o

Why did she think that? All your tests are clear, are young and you already have a child:huh:

Agreed, the biggest thing in my favour is the fact I have conceived once.

Working against me however is my age (37) and, more than anything, the fact it took 3 and a half yrs to conceive before (when I was younger - I started TTC aged 31 and gave birth aged 35).

The NHS consultant I have seen is much more upbeat than the private consultant, even though she has nothing to offer me. It may just be that the private consultant wants me to believe IVF is my only hope so she can liberate some more of my £££s. Perhaps I'm overly cynical though..?

All being well, we can do the HyCoSy on 13 May (Friday 13th) and then just chill out. Que sera, sera.

    Anyway - CD28, and BFN..!

QQ - that is alot of drugs!! I am currently taking the Crinone 8% vaginal progesterone gel and thats it. The first time I had the extra shot of Pregnyl and the second time I had the progesterone pessaries. I am liking the gel better as the pessaries are really messy.

Chickpea - sorry about the BFN, there should be no reason for not getting pregnant natuarally hope the HyCosy helps.

First sign of pink here, so looks like I'll be booking the HyCoSy tomorrow. Merde.

    Good luck to other 2wwers!
