  • Qq - where did you have the needles inserted? I had my second session last week which I didn't enjoy as much as the first. Also its sooo expensive that I will only be able to go once every 6 weeks or so. If I could buy a block like yours it would be much more cost efficient.
It has definitely made a difference to my cycle though. I have been battling with spotting since my early 20's and the western medicine answer was to put me on the pill. Doesn't solve the issue though.

CD28 for me. 13DPO. And I feel great apart from constant headache today. Normally I am wanting to rip someones head off but feel very chilled. Maybe its the thought of the long holidays coming up :T

I had one on my head, one each near my thumb on my hands, about 3 each on my legs, and about 15 on my stomach:cool:
And they put warm lights on my stomach & legs to get the needles warm:)
  • Oooh -i have not had warm lights on me. 15 on your stomach? Maybe she was trying to help with your gas issues? Maybe she was releasing it all though the tiny holes :rotfl:

I had 3 on my stomach last time, 4 in my head, 1 in each wrist and a few in each leg and foot. She says she will put them in different places according to cycle day. That and constant looking at my tongue. I feel a bit odd just lying there with my tongue hanging out. Like a panting dog....

I normally have about 5 or 6 in my stomach, some on my legs, hands and one in my forehead. I also have heat (little burning ash) on my stomach together with some electric current to bring them on a bit bigger. I not sure whether it helps but I have had it 3 times now and I find it helpful for my mind more than anything and my acupunturist is so nice she tells me more info than the hospital does.

Good luck QQ for your scan tomorrow. x

Usually I am between 26 and 31 days (but start spotting at CD 22/23) so I am in a different realm now and it all feels a bit scary.

Good luck for tomorrow morning Qquaver. We are due some BFP's here this month and there is lots of activity going on.

Chickpea - Are you have your Hycosy next Friday or is it just a consultation? Will read back as I am getting confused. (edit Just read back and its the consultation)

Lilo - hope the tests weren't too painful.

:eek: To the gas issues QQ

Well, had a very wierd day - left the house at 8am and returned at 8pm:eek:

It was one of those days!!! Started brilliantly, got there perfect time, etc etc. Trial embryo transfer, went in and out in about 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO PAIN! Really easy and straightforward. She knew exactly what she was doing, understood the post trachelectomy issues, was very gentle and said that everything was perfect, and one of the easiest ones she had had (polishes her finger nails on her top). Went and had coffee, lunch etc ready for parts 2 and 3 at 2pm. DH got called for his sperm test, which he manfully performed to the best of his ability. Still waiting for the scan. Eventually they said the scan lady had called in sick, could I come back another day - errrr no! It cost £54.oo by train and a 4 hour round trip, on yer bikes! Eventually they fitted us in with someone else, who hadnt the faintest idea what they were doing (DH kept saying that the maintenance man thought his luck was in, letting him come and do that to one of the ladies!) took ages, and then he said that he needed to use a different scanner, took us back into the waiting room, and said he would come back to us after seeing some of the others waiting:eek::eek: We were finally seen at 5.30 by this guy and the head consultant, who whizzed through the scan in about 5 minutes, said yep everything was fine, lets get started on the IVF!!!!:D:D:D:D:D We werent expecting to discuss this until the 28th! So, we will get a call shortly to go back and go through the protocol with the nurse and get our prescription, which he has already written!!!! OH MY GOD - Am scared now!!! (The Mr Bean Doctor then had to take some blood tests, took over 1/2 an hour, and I ended up with blood running down my arm!! - thats after he had spent 5 minutes pumping my arm to get the blood out!)

So, a very strange day, a fantastic outcome, and as soon as my next period starts, IVFing on the full protocol, which I have never done before, only the short. So down regging etc here I ocme!

Oh, and I have a 2cm fibroid which is causing me no problems so they are ignoring, and also after IVF if unsuccessful, they will check my tubes for me to increase my chances of natural conception. WOW

Sorry this is war and peace, have had a looooong day, am off to bedfordshire, just wanted to get this off my chest first - oh, and apparently will be ovulating over the next week, so you never know, I could even beat it to it

    Night night, sweet dreams, LIlo
