Lilo, test pleaseeeee, you must have some will power.

QQ - its all go hope it all runs smoothly.

Last scan this morning at the moment 7 follices above 12 so hopefully they will be good and also have 2 coming up behind them which would better if they grow a bit more. Also have 17 below 10 but they will probably be a no show. Lining has reduced a bit to 9.8 but still fine. Last Menpour today and tomorrow, I did ask for some more for Sunday but they didn't seem too keen on giving me anymore as they said as soon as I have had the Trigger shot they will stop growing but I could have least got another 12 hours in!. Trigger Sunday night, getting scared now!

Ju, the GA is a lil p-rick in the back of your hand and everything goes via a canula so u will be ok, it's normal to feel apprehensive before one xxx

I think u might have seen on my fb, i had my foot done in october and my wrist just done in Jan, so had quite a few recently and been ok xx

I do get nausea after and always let them know beforehand, they usually put some anti-nausea stuff in with it which helps me alot xx

I had the GA last time but I have really cold hands so they find it hard to find a vein at times and I hate needles particularly ones that go in veins. I am going to ask for special numbing cream this time (yes I am a whimp). I was really groggy afterwards but about 2 days but I suppose thats to be expected and my hand and arm hurt for about 3 weeks after.

You have been going through it with your foot as well as your wrist.!

    Juju.
I'm a severe belenophobic, poorly functioning under stress so IVf etc is extremely harrowing for me in that respect.
I have had perhaps 15 GA's in my life, through IVF, salpingectomies and various other procedures/ops and always freak out at the canula part. I have also been canulised for egg collections at my current clinic but using sedation instead of GA.
I used to ask for the emla cream (Ametop) but stopped as sitting with it on my hands (usually both hands to makes sure) and waiting, and the whole numbing effect made me feel worse as it added up to the apprehension, plus my skin was numb for day afterwards on both hands.
The best experience (if it can be classed as such!) was at my salpingectomy the other week. As always I was wheeled in the anaesthetic area sobbing my heart out and hyperventilating. The anesthetist took one look and said ok, we can fix this. He asked me what the fear was and I told him it was the canula. One nurse took my left hand and started asking me lots of odd stuff (distraction technique!) and got me opening my mouth, moving my tongue etc while the other guys busied around my right. I knew that they were there and something was about to happen so it was no surprise when a voice said 'sharp scratch' and there was.
They had injected a local anesthetic into the area they were going to canulise so that when they went about the actual process I didn't feel a thing, I didn't even know they had done it as of course I was looking away.
I also didn't feel the flush going through or the actul anaesthetic at all (normally a cold pressure) Ok, my hand was still numb for a few days but it was as easy as it is ever going to get for me. As soon as I saw they had done it and it was all taped down etc I calmed down, and when they put the anaesthetic through I actually joked and said night night.
I know it may not be possible for you to have this, but thought i'd share my experience from an extremely needle phobic persons perspective.
    You will do fine hun

Awww Lisa, god that sounds horrid, but well done u for getting it done xx

Ju just think why u r doing it and the long term goal xxx

My foot, there are pics of before and after on my fb, I had a lump appear which needed removal as it grew alarmingly fast, they had to cut right down to the bone of my right foot, that held up my wrist surgery as foot was more of an issue, which inturn held FET up as i had to have wrist out of plaster before i could consider FET.

    xxx

All sounds great juju, fingers crossed for as many as possible!

Will probably poas tomorrow, but I am not expecting a positive.

Lisa - I have panic attacks when I am going down for an anaesthetic, I am an absolute nightmare. I have tried everything to stop it, I have premeds, I warn them in advance that it is going to happen, and they all think, yeah yeah yeah, and then are quite shocked that I go absolutely ballistic! Its a control thing with me, and it peaks when they are putting the cold stuff in - I think everyone is quite relieved when I get knocked out!

Have a good weekend everyone, XXXXX lilo
