hi, welcome sugardonut, glad things been better for you today. our problem is sperm too, i think it is quite hard for the blokes when its a sperm issue, as they have to watch us going through all the treatments, i know my oh finds it hard when i have been in a lot of pain as i think in a way he feels its down to him. i think its important to talk to them as its something you are both in together whatever the cause, and you need to be strong together. hope things work out for you and you dont have to wait too long in the end :)

Good morning! CD25, 5-6DPO here. Not optimistic tho - been getting lots of cramping.

I feel like my womb *wants* to work, but something is letting it down. I don't think it's hormones, I'm sure it's my tubes. I hope I'm wrong.

Anyway - no testing this month, can't be bothered facing up to the BFNs, and squinting at an absence of lines for hours, so I'm waiting for AF/ lack of AF.

Have a good day wherever you are in your cycle!
  • Hi Chickpea, I was wondering where you were. Did you have your tests last week? When do you get the results? Are you going to push for an HSG?

I have acupuncture this evening. I am excited/apprehensive at the same time. Not sure what to expect.

Also I have been reading the Hopetobedadday Blog (a really good find jiblets). Mr Daddy has just had acupuncture and it improved his SA - a lot. Maybe my OH should be doing this instead of me and I made him read that part of the blog (he just shrugged and said oh thats interesting!!!). I will suggest it to acupuncturist tonight and see what she says.

Hi CCM - I'm going to wait to get the scores on the doors for this cycle, and if it's a no,then I'm going to call to make an appointment for a HyCoSy (tubal xray) and also hopefully an AMH test (if my eggs are shot to hell, I'd sooner know, then I can rein in my expectations a bit better.

    ++++++++

Hope you enjoy the acupuncture. I'm getting acupuncture and reflexology, alternating each week. They're supposed to work well together. I think reflexology is actually my favourite, because there's more 'touching'.

I have a really lovely reflexologist too, which helps.

    Good luck!

Be excited. I love having acupunture and the lady who I have is so imformative she has told me more than any other Dr has. I have such a needle phobia too so for me to have this and do my daily injections for ICSI is pretty good going. I have got my acupunture tomorrow morning.

    Enjoy. x

I would love reflexology as well but it would be stretching the pennies a bit too much. So it has to be one or the other.

I have a needle phobia too Juju. I am not sure how you do the injections. Eeeek. I need to get geared up to be a pin cushion though at some point whether TTC or preggers. Hopefully the latter.

Good luck to everyone coming up to Ov or in the 2WW. x

I've been injecting now for a week and though I don't like it I have found it strangely much easier than I did last time. I've also managed to crack the secret of not bruising, so at least I don't look like I've been in a brawl.

Trying to ignore the pregnancy really as I've got another week and a half til my scan, which will confirm whether it's viable or not. Had a not-so-welcome distraction this weekend with my dad, who is very ill and who I had to get admitted to hospital - he's furious, insists there's nothing wrong with him. IT was horrible. he hadnt eaten for days and was in a right state. Basically been going downhill since my mum died six months ago. Also discovered hideous financial mess that he's got himself into - really not good, and not good for my health either - am meant to be relaxing and not stressing!

Ach. QUe sera sera. Hope things are going well for you all.

What's the secret? Is it the same as Follistim/Puregon/Ovidrel injection pens where it's done on the stomach?

    Fingers crossed:)
