Well I didn't get AF before my appointment, but I was realy pleased as they have let me start my stimming anyway. When they scanned me, my womb lining was still really thin, so they were happy to plod on.
Getting the menopur drugs together for my new injections is a little complicated. There's two little powder tablets in vials, and one liquid vial. You have to get them all together in the one syringe to jab them in. Complex or what! But day one went fine.

I'm trying to get lots of protein in my diet. I think I've decided I need more fibre too. IYKWIM. What else do I need to be thinking about for the stimming? I don't need to avoid hot baths and things yet do I? I've stopped drinking. Just can't really work through all the bumf on the internet...

    Hi everyone!

Day 34 for me at the moment after my first month with my shiny new CBFM. Have no idea is we BD'd at the right time as CBFM said I had 19 high days and no peak  Was kind of expecting it for the first month so fingers crossed for a peak next month.

I am having an interesting month with hormones, I am usually hormonal for a couple of days prior to AF but this month I feel as though I have been crying at everything for about 5 days now and feeling really down. Think AF is on way as having nasty cramps. Does anyone else suffer with mood swings before AF and any tips for easing it?

QQuaver - Good luck with the Clomid :)

Lilo - Glad to hear the Soy Isoflavones are working, think I might give them a try

Alamaya - Good luck, hopefully this one chance is all you will need :) x

Crickett - Good luck for tomorrow

Good news Jiblets! Glad day one went fine :j

Glad day one went well jibs, it is nerve wracking mixing all that stuff, isnt it - I always got worried that I hadnt done it properly, but of course I had! I think drinking plenty of water is recommended as well XX

kismet, I think the soya may help with that - mine was vastly reduced this month, I was quite pleasant!!

Day 3 tomorrow, so I start to take the soya again until day 7 - it worked okay for us this way last month so I will stick with it. And in other news - our new car arrives tomorrow and I cant wait!

    Hi Ladies,

alamaya nice to see you back lots and lots of luck for your treatment hope it all goes well, do you get any frozen embryo transferes if you have any to freeze?

Lilo that's great your cycle has gone back to 28 days, yey on the new car too :)

crickett hope the appointment goes well and you get some answers too x x

Jiblets glad your getting to start stimms and glad day 1 gone well :D, I was quite lucky with these had the puregon pen I have the pen for next time too. If you include drinking 1l milk it should be organic something to do with extra hormones in normal milk, and keeping your tummy warm is supposed to help, also when you go for egg collection they say it's best to avoid stong smelling shower gels, deodrants, perfumes, nail varnish and make up. sorry hope thats not too much :o

I am still waiting for AF hopefully it will be here by the weekend, and hopefully my cyst will be gone (please please please please go)

Nichart - Apparently i get to freeze any remaining embryos and can have as many FETS as i need to use them up until i fall pregnant. That was a little surprise. Start Downregging on 24th. on 0.5ml Buserelin. Then its just a waiting game for the AF to come. Have my gonal f pens in the fridge ready and my ovitrelle (hcg). Plus pessaries (joy). So stupidly excited lol

Oh and ment to say Nurture Nottingham found a small cyst on my ovary. Nothing to worry about but funny how my local hospital didnt find it. Then again they did loose all my results so i had to have blood tests all over again sigh

That's great, that must take some of the preasure off as your other post was saying 5-7 years if this one does not work, try putting that out of your mind and just think postitive (easier said than done) keep us updated how your doing I really hope it works for you :D

she was hopefull the cyst would just go but I have to prepare myself it could still be there, I have heard quite a few people have had blood tests and sperm tests go missing we have been lucky so far

I think it's crazy that in Cambridgeshire, they get upto 6 fresh cycles of ivf  shame its not like that everywhere :(

Are you having your treatment at Nurture ?

I had my IVF at nurture ( I also work at the QMC). I thought the staff there were great. The only downside were the early morning scans !!!

    Good luck

PS have you met the absolutely gorgeous DR Nick yet ? he's def the man any woman would want to get pregnant by.:)
