well done Q, I bet you've never been so happy to see AF have you?
I wish my doc put my on Clomid, at least then I would feel like something was happening before waiting til september.
Is there anything I can be taking to try and induce ov that I can get from the chemist or herbal shop?0 -

They seem good to me quaver, I am on day 27 of a usually 26 day cycle and I 'feel' more fertile iyswim - I dont think it has worked this month, but if I have gone back to a 28 day cycle, that is my best shot of conceiving. I have been spotting since Monday, and I am expecting AF to arrive tomorrow/Monday which will be spot on!

I heard the Tesco ones has 40mg which means only 3 pills so I think it is a better option.
You take about 120mg/night from CD3-7 or thereabouts (anything from CD2-6 to CD5-7, better eggs if later). It should give you stronger/earlier ov, better ewcm, and longer luteal or so they says. Similar to Clomid, but without prescription and all natural.
People seems to get pg after their 2nd cycle. It can delay ov if taken too much so be careful;) Is your cycle regular? If so, take lower dose (100mg).
I tried it last cycle (120mg), and I think my ov came about 10 days earlier (usually CD33-40), but no real way of knowing since I took the pills to stop ov and induce AF just after getting something close to ewcm.
Lowest dosage for Clomid is 50mg, equivalent dosage for Soy is 100mg.
Those on the internet who were successful seemed to have used 150mg/night for the first 3 days then 200mg/night for the last 2 days.
Good luck:)0 -
Hi qquaver, as expected AF arrived overnight, so day 1 today - and an absolutely text-book 28 day cycle exactly like they used to be. I am also sure that my pmt has been vastly improved and I feel more settled iyswim. I was definately 'up for it' at the right time in my cycle so I definately feel much better for being on it. I wasnt expecting to get preg 1st month, but def feel that my chances are improving thanks to the improvements in my cycle. It sounds like I should have high hopes for this month!!!!

Got doctors appointment tomorrow morning to discuss all my symptoms which might be pregnancy (though test still negative) or might be hormonal imbalances (most likely) or might be a "hysterical" pregnancy or whatever. I hate going to the doctors. They never listen to what I say and try to tell me that they know my body better than I do. That attitude totally !!!!es me off, because I have been living with my body for 37 years and they see it for 10 minutes twice a year. Just because they have a degree and had read textbooks does not mean that they know everything. It is an arrogant attitude and I abhor arrogance.
Anyway, I have decided I want to be referred to an endocrinologist. I am prepared to be drained of blood for all the tests they are going to need to do, but I really feel this is the last ditch to get this sorted and to have that child I so desperately want.
Getting nervous though. Trying to concentrate on work (got enough of it to do!) and forget about the impending doom!!
Still no AF, though now about 10 weeks overdue for one. Feel like a bloody carthorse at the moment I am so bloated. Sigh. This whole situation totally sucks. I am going to sulk for the rest of the day i think."A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort"Herm Albright 1876-19440
