  • Thanks for posting that Tea. Somehow it's comforting to see someone else put what it feels like down in words so eloquently.

PM, you're having a rotten time too. Hopefully being caught up in this poostorm means that we're just being tested, and when the time eventually comes and the universe stops raining poo on us, we will get the good babies.

I can imagine. Much like someone on facebook posting photos of herself in her hospital gown holding up pink or blue cards, because she's getting induced today while I'm upset from the GP's inability to answer the question: will I be able to have fertility treatment? Its like no matter what you do, there's always this big sign reminding you what you can't do.

If you can't send them back, just hide them at the back of a drawer or cupboard you don't use much. Eventually you will need them. I have faith that one day, you will get your baby, even if it's by unconventional methods.

Sub/infertility is just a constant slap in the face isn't it :( you have more faith than I do, my stupid ovaries won't even produce an egg, were always in limbo with treatment. We has to wait nearly 2 months to start the injections as the fs was away and all the injections did was thicken my lining which is just coming away to remind me my ovaries don't work. Im pretty sure will have to have surgery and thats many months wait, I just don't want to have to wait any longer.:mad::mad:

    Hello ladies,

Tea: From what I see about your OH, I really can't understand his thinking sometimes. It does sound like it could be denial but that doesn't really help you.

Part mouse: Sorry for the bleeding

AFM: I had my first IVF appointment yesterday! I loved the clinic and my new consultant so I'm really pleased we moved. I had another AFC scan which showed 11 follicles-two more than last time and it meant I moved from the 'rubbish effort-go home you withered old crone' category to the 'bottom of average' category...I'll take that though!

He's putting me on long protocal with 300mg Menopur because of my AMH, and said my OH's SA was brilliant (yay!). He also said he may look to do ICSI depending on how many eggs we get.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased! If only my previous clinic hadn't lost my latest blood test results, we would be good to go!

Can I pleased me updated to Next step: start down-regging on 20th (?) October.

Yeah, the GP reminded me today that even if we get an appointment with the FS soon, it'll still be months before they even do anything. Why does everything take so long??

Derby - good luck with the IVF.
