Regarding telling people - I have quite a few know, because of our MMC. At that point we didn't know we were going to have problems, just assumed it had taken a while. ( 13 months )

Then because we haven't gotten pregnant since I think people assumed.
One thing that annoys me a little is that they don't ( or many don't ) come and ask or talk to me directly about it. They will talk about it behind my back, and MIL gets the update from OH and she will probably then tell everyone else. All whilst in my presence they say not a word. Bit frustrating.

I'm not sure whether people knowing exactly what stage your at in a cycle is a great thing, it does put a bit more pressure on. But I have got so used to saying " Nope, didn't work this time " That I don't mind updating close friends.

Also put a few more vague comments on FB in the form of sharing certain pages etc, because it frustrates me that some may assume just because I have DD that we can easily have another. That we have a HUGE ( and growing ) age gap ( 7 years plus now ) through choice. When it is anything but.

This whole journey sucks!

ETA : Tea that is really really crap - I'd ring back and demand to speak to a Manager or someone higher in the clinic. They don't think do they , you are up against the clock and each passing week they delay it is a BIG deal to you!

Honestly - I'd ring them back and make a fuss! x

I know it's stupid to be this upset about it but it just feels like the final straw. We've got so little time and they're so blo*dy useless about everything. They knew what we were going for, as they knew the appt had been booked with the wrong person.... so why on earth couldn't someone have called us sooner? The fact that only one person can discuss egg sharing or even make appts about it (and she's p/t) is frankly ridiculous.

Had psyched myself up for starting again and now it's all on hold indefinitely again, just have to hope that the one peron we can speak to calls on Thursday.

Have looked for other clinics but the nearest is nearly an hour away and I just can't do that and work full-time, it's bad enough with this place.

I know I'm massively over-reacting to this (am sat at work bawling my eyes out ), just feels like no one even wants to help us.

It's standard to scan at 7 weeks in an IVF pregnancy. This is regardless of how many embryos are put back, but obviously finding out whether it's twins is very useful.

I'm surprised your clinic hasn't spoken to you about this. I don't think it makes any difference whether it's private or NHS - a 7 week scan is the norm for IVF.

They spoke to us about it on OTD. I got the impression (quite possibly wrong lol) that mrshappy hasn't technically got to OTD yet?

Tea huge hugs for you, what a huge muck around. Its very hard when you lose hope that the people that are ment to help will.esp when its something so close to our hearts.

Oh crap fs is worried about ohss estrogesteron being checked.

Im worried the cycle is going go be canceled.no dominant follicle but lots of smaller ones.has anyone had this before?
