Fairy Dust - you have been added to the list on page 599.

Welcome skint_catt! Sorry you are heading down this road with us all, but there is plenty of support here. Let me know if you want to go onto the list, and if so do a little summary.

Whattodonow - Season 5 is so good! The whole thing is so good... it's like the most intense exciting movie ever. I can't remember the start of season 5 as the break was so long, but all I can say about the second half is - brace yourself!! Episodes just leave you in total shock.

CD1 for me. No surprise as been spotting for last 2 days. Also no surprise as I think the last time we DTD was some time in the '90s.

Would have been nice to have a last-minute miracle before the appt about round 2 on Tues but hey ho.

That recently? That's made me chuckle :T

Haha Tea! Sometimes it feels like that doesn't it!

Good luck to mrshappy and vseviour! Can't wait to have some good news on here.

    Hi Fairy :-)

Part mouse - I hope the little blighters start giving you some eggs soon. I don't know your background story but wondered of you had tried clomid and how that worked for you? You struggling to stimulate on the IVF drugs got me thinking about whether that would be the same for me if I can't even ovulate on clomid! I'm not really clued up on IVF or ICSI at the moment, not thought that far ahead. As OH has always said he would rather give up than go through that - we have very good friends ( his best friend ) who went through all this.

Skint Catt - I am in a similar position to you, although a bit further on. We've been trying 2 and a half years now, but aren't entitled to any IVF assistance because I already have DD. I have PCOS and Low numbers of sperm for him.
Just wanted to say your not alone in secondary infertility on this thread and everyone here is amazing. No one judges us because we already have one :-)
Good luck with your tests - I can sympathise with the long cycles!
If you want to ask anything feel free, I am currently on cycle 2 of Clomid, after failing to ovulate on the first. We are a year past me going to the doctors and saying I wanted help!

AFM - I'm on day 17 today, blood test is on Monday morning. I'm feeling a lot calmer this month. Probably because I don't have high expectations that clomid will be my wonder drug anymore. Managing quite well not to stress too much.
No idea if I've ovulated, I've not had any pains that I had last month, and I've not done any OPKs either. Just leaving it all down to the blood test.
I have a meal out with OH next Wednesday, and also a spa day booked with my friend on the Thursday - so if it's bad news and no ovulation I have a couple of good things on the days I will know so I can distract myself. :-)

MrsDavo - thanks for that - you've answered one question already! I did wonder if I'd even be eleigble to try Clomid, but hopefully they'll let me (if it gets to that point!) though I think I have to get my BMI below 30 asap first :o

time2deal - yes I may as well go on the list as I'm going to be a regular here with questions & support for everyone else. What info do you need - I can't find the list to copy details. Weve been trying for 12 months & hubby is 42 & I am 36. DD is just about to turn 2 (which makes me sad the age gap is just getting bigger 7 bigger as I always wanted 2 fairly close together :( )
  • Hi all
Wish we could all get our BFPs
That's my clomid cycles over CD1 today and no luck. Don't want to sound negative, but didn't think it would do much with OH having low sperm count.
Hey that's that hoop over with, just need to wait for next appointment in about 3 weeks.
Would love to change my job and do something less stressful. The job I am in is easier to change shifts for appointments I might need.

    On the positive stuff.
Have lost 6kg since my last appointment BMI now 28 and able to fit into a old pair of jeans :)
Have a lovely OH, who has been great through the ttc journey.
    Have hols next week :).
    Have good friends around me.
    Loads planned up until Christmas.
Going part time no matter what in 15 months time.
Plans about new house, just need to get in there.
    Good vibes to all
  • Loving the positive list good vibes... maybe we should all do the same and start positiving this thread up!
