    Hi all,
loads of *hugs* to primmer and fingers crossed for lucy.
Had FS appointment, no op needed for OH. When on about shifting a bit of weight (BMI 29). Did say I had put on since this whole thing started (oh well).
Got 3 lots of clomid, which I can't start now until next cycle. Then back for an appointment to choose Which clinic to go for further assisted help if no joy.

    Hi ladies!

Any news Lucy? Sending massive hugs to you honey. xxx

Sorry about the piles Tea!

Not sure how many of you still read the regular TTC thread but I posted my BFP on there. :) I had given up on the idea of it happening naturally and was just waiting it out for my FS referral in September; it was so comforting to know that you'd all be here to answer my questions and settle my fears when that time came and I'm thankful to you all for that. This is an amazing place. :)

Sending massive jugs to you all! :grouphug:

    umm...what Birdie said :o

I've been avoiding saying it here as i know that in comparison to the TTC thread ladies i've had it really tough, but in comparison to ladies on this thread i've had it really really easy.

Scan booked for 16 June when i should be 7 weeks. first pregnancy was a mmc, baby died at 5.5 weeks but i only found out at 11 weeks and the worst part for me was that all that time i didn't know :( so at least an early scan will save some pain if the worst has happened.

It's been a very long 20 months and you've all been amazing support. I'll still be routing for you all, I hope this thread is empty soon x

Ooh becca that sounds horrible! Will they be trying it again, or do they have a plan B now? I really hope they come up with a less painful way of looking for you soon!

I have to say, my hycosy was without a doubt the most painful thing so far. Far worse than EC/ET or any of that. But it was quick at least. That's definitely a minority though, everyone else seems to be fine (before I get told off for putting people off lol).

Congrats for the BFP ladies. We do seem to have had a rush of them lately, so lovely for you all xx.

See that's what I was worried about, if my HSG hurt that much, what the hell would IUI be like, which is our next step?

They won't try again as they literally did everything they could so the other option is lap & dye but I really don't want another one. However, I also don't want to put myself through all this treatment if my tubes are blocked. Ah well, we will see what FS suggests.

I was bricking it about ET for that reason, as the hycosy hurt like hell. I don't know whether it was a different person or whatever, but I literally didn't feel a thing with ET. I was waiting for the horrible pain when they put the catheter in but nothing... always good!

When are you seeing the FS again? Hopefully not too long to wait. It does seem sensible that they would like to know the tubes are ok before any further treatment, but if you've had lap & dye before maybe they can go from those results.

I'm thinking of asking about another lap at our appt tomorrow. It's been over 3 years since my last one and I've had various endo-worsening treatments during that time. I'd be interested to know what's going on in there!

We are not seeing him until August but I'm hoping he is doing our tracking scan on Friday. If not it'll be the nurse specialist so I'll ask her anyway.

I hope your appointment goes well. Are you going to have any more treatment? x

That's the million dollar question. OH is totally against trying ICSI again. I think he'd be ok with clomid or something like that (tbh he wouldn't necessarily even notice clomid!) I have no idea whether we'll be offered anything else. Obviously we could try ICSI again if we paid.

I was trying my best to get my head around not doing anything and trying to think of the positives (there are a lot - holidays, alcohol, etc lol) But I just can't stop thinking about it. I don't feel ready to give up on this - but I'm not ready to give up on my relationship either so we're pretty much at stalemate. It would help if we able to talk about it without it degenerating into a slanging match but we haven't managed that yet.

    Will see what tomorrow brings....

    Congrats to Birdue and TeamLowe

Becca - ouch, sorry about your hsg. Hope the murse on Friday can give you further information.

Tea - did your clinic offer counselling? Ours offered one free session and if I had decided to try ivf/icsi again I definately would have gone to the counselling before trying again as it is a lot to go through. Maybe if you both went to one session it would help to have someone neutral for you to talk to ...
