Squirrel you're doing brilliantly so ignore the terrible medical speak letter. Have they decided what treatment to give you when you reach your target or not? Just keep in mind your end goal and you'll get there in your own good time- not via the '14st in a day' Peter Kay diet your FS believes exists...0

Thanks time2deal.
I read it as a BMI between 18.5 and 25.However it ended by saying "I will see her in 2 months time when I hope she will be at an appropriate BMI"
What! I don't even know what is implied by that? An appropriate BMI for someone who is desperately trying to lose weight?? Or just an appropriate BMI?
Squirrel a stone lost is fantastic. It took me 10 weeks to lose 4lbs which is ridiculous.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

:rotfl:Wouldn't mind so much if he was Mr Super Skinny himself. I saw him a few weeks ago gorging on pizza and wine in an italian restaurant!!!
The annoying thing is they havent told me exactly what treatment I'll be looking at once I get to the 'appropriate' level - we have discussed IVF but not in detail - although thats what i'm working towards as they want me to get a BMI below 30 to even consider it on the NHS (I'm currently 34 something).
Because both me and Mr Squirrel are not working properly I think IVF (or ICSI) is going to be the only solution. Dont worry I'll be asking next time I go what the next step is!
Peonie, I dont think I'll be reaching that BMI level anytime soon so I'll just keep my target at somewhere under 30 for now......

If you've talked about an appropriate BMI being 30 then that must be what he's referring to.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Scan day
.
Woke up to the reminder going off on my phone - forgot I'd put the appointment in there.
Got to work and the first email I saw was an out of office from one of the suppliers to say she's on maternity leave.
Still having to put up with every tiny detail of the ill dog - complete with crying.
Going to be a VERY long day.0 -

And now for my bitter comment:
Do you ever see women who have many children; see they are pregnant again and think 'you're using up my quota'? It's crazy but I did last week.
I have days where I think that about everyone with more than one child. I mean come on... don't they know it's my turn?
It feels like it is so easy for him to make a few small changes, when I am doing so much - or well, I was at least. It's just ANOTHER thing wildly out of our control!
Exactly! I haven't even had a cup of tea for months and he can't even remember to take one little vitamin unless I literally put it on his plate. Grr!Seriously though I really hope she shuts up soon, there is nothing worse!!
I hope so too! I know I sound horrible, and I do understand that it's upsetting when a pet's ill. But I've heard nothing else for the past 3 days now and I'm so close to losing it with her.0 -
