BZ.. All sounds pretty normal to me ! When i was pg with DD (after An early mc) i didnt relax until we'd had an early scan to check for a heartbeat... It's still very early days, and the world has changed, it's bound to take time to adjust. You're welcome to stay as long as you like, it's lovely to hear from graduates. On my phone so can't type loads, but didn't want to read & run. Pay for a private scan if possible (I felt it was worth it) the reassurance you'll get will help - & then you'll give yourself other things to worry about ;). Gentle hugs x

OMG, not been on for a few days, and wow, huge massive ,brilliant congrats BZ, thanks goodness I'm in on my own as I let out a squeal when I saw your post, so so so so so happy for you <3

Hello QQ, hope you are okay and things are going well with DH.

I had acupuncture during my ICSI, I'm not sure I actually enjoyed it, as I had to travel to the other side of Glasgow, so the driving-usually at rush hour, after a day at work cancelled out the relaxation aspect and at £30 a session it isn't cheap, my attitude was that it can't do any harm, but I won't be doing it again.

Fluff-you had success with a donor egg didn't you? I am on the waiting list for a donor egg, but nothing seems to be moving very fast :( I think I'll give them a wee phone this week and make sure they haven't forgotten about me.
Hope everyone is well, I have spent more time than I meant to on here and need to scoot of to work,

    I've been Money Tipped!
My clomid scan was awful this morning. Consultant had said no more clomid and we have to move on to the 'next step' whatever that is because all of my tracking scans have looked great, clomid obviously isn't going to work for us.

I am gutted beyond belief ... I was convinced I would get another 3 cycles of clomid and that it would work. Now I'm just terrified :(

So they're saying 'the clomid is doing it's job but you're not pg so it's not the answer for you?'
i think i read on here ages ago that they only usually do it for three cycles but a bit harsh to tell you that at the third cycle follicle tracking :( if i've tracked properly where you're up to! lol

did he mention what the next step would be or are they waiting for the result of this cycle?

rather large hugs lady x x

So it's doing it's thing re. growing follciles but because you haven't conceived yet you can't try it for another few months? That seems like odd logic doesn't it?!

Or of course I may have totally misread that.... in which case ignore me x.

Oh, big hugs Becca :( When do you find out what the next step entails?

Good morning everyone. Lovely to hear how you're doing BZ :) Sending you hugs Becca. x

Well AF has arrived for me now, pretty much bang on schedule. So I've got my base line scan booked at the clinic for first thing tomorrow morning, and then I guess it's a case of bring on the Gonal f! Beginning to feel really, really scared - this is it now. Sat at my desk at work feeling really sick (AF cramps not helping either) but pretending to be 'normal'. Arghhhhh.

lucyloo - good luck! It really is ok once you get started. I think fear of the unknown kicks in at this stage then once you've started the (endless!) scans it's fine and all seems strangely normal. Hope the scan goes ok. Keep us posted!

As absolutely mad as it sounds, I kind of miss it all now. At least when I was injecting and trekking off to the hospital every other day I was doing something. I had a plan, something to hope about. Now I feel very out of control. I hate the fact that there's nothing I can do. All I can think about is how we should have our scan tomorrow morning.
