Can I interest anyone in 4 embies...free to a good home...one careful owner.
Still in v much pain. Hosp called me over for blood test (that was a fun hour in the car) but just said they'd have results in the morning when we go over for transfer. I really don't think I'm going to make it there, am in so much pain.
Someone please take me outside & shoot me!0 -
I'll have them tea, long as you promise none of them will be ginger! Lol
Big hugs, hope you're feeling better soon, as always QQ' s advice seems best xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

I do have some ginger heritage so can't promise anything
I'm climbing the walls here. OH is at away in London (great timing!) & won't be back for a few hours. I think if he was here we'd be over at a&e by now.0 -
Tea - hope you are coping ok. You can always freeze and wait a month, which maybe physically (and mentally) may be a good idea.
Relax, it's not the only chance, and your clinic are clearly cautious and careful based on cancelling last time. Trust them... it will work out.

AFM - had a really nice night tonight for DH's birthday. AF showed up, but I did suspect so was prepared.
Had a good chat about what we are going to do next. We have to wait until August, but he was keen to use the frozen embies. I'm keen to do a fresh cycle and keep the 9 1 day embryos in the freezer just in case. My logic is that my AMH was only 2, and if the frozen embryos don't work then we have no fallback, as most likely my AMH will have fallen even more. And if they do, then it will be the only child we have.
So, I think we are agreed. One fresh cycle in August, and if that doesn't work, then we will look at the frozen ones. I know it's greedy, but I really want 2 kids. I am so close to my siblings, and I would love to be able to give that to my kids. Of course, I'd be happy with one now, but I don't want to lose the chance of two. The cancer means I'm not allowed to have twins which I had always dreamed of, so we need to have time to have 2.
At least he understood my logic now, and we are lucky that we can afford another cycle, so bring on August!
ETA: And I am pretty certain they are ginger - so you can't have them TeamLowe! DH is 100% ginger and green eyed, and I'm irish with auburn hair (before I messed with it) and pale blue eyes.0 -
I REALLY hope that freezing is an option. Not sure what to do if not. Have been awake & in severe pain for over 24hrs. The pain comes in waves every 20mins or so & makes me feel I'm going to pass out. I can't stand up straight. I've never experienced pain this bad before.
The thought of someone poking a stick up me is more than I can bear. But if freezing isn't an option I don't see that i have any choice.0 -
Grrr!!! Rang the emergency out of hrs number & spoke to the least helpful person. I explained the situation & she told me to take paracetamol. I told her I've tried that & its not doing anything, the pain is so bad. She then came out with the classic "you can't take anything else in case you're pregnant". Unlikely, as my embryos are 30 miles away in a petri dish.
She was so stroppy, said there was nothing she could do & I could either go & have it done or cancel the appt.0 -
Didn't want to read & run..
Are you sipping energy drinks as you feel able? Get a taxi (cadge a lift from a friend?) to A&E if you can. Look after yourself. The embies are being looked after so don't worry about them. More important to look after YOU.When people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Tea-how are you this morning? x0
