I presume by "people" you mean the staff?
Up to a point I agree with you. HOWEVER, the feeling I get is that they're disgruntled with all the changes that have been made. Where at one time one person was in charge of two beds at a time now they all just seem to flit about doing what needs to be done and very often looking crabby! Last time I went four different members of staff dealt with me whilst on my donation "couch"! They're constantly busy it seems and perhaps feel under pressure.
In response to an earlier post, yes the new thing is to get people to sit up as soon as they've finished...it came as a surprise to me that t does actually work. Normally I have an extra 5 minutes lie down (go waffy otherwise!) but they insisted I sit up rightaway last time.
Those who need to up their iron levels through diet should check on t'internet. I was surprised to read things such as gingerbread and certain dried fruits (figs are one) can make a difference. And don't drink tea with meals, apparently it affects iron absorption.
Like you I live in the sticks but check for sessions in my area. The nearest is 6 miles away, but there are loads of others.
Like Ice, I'm back in June:wave:0 -
Yes but can someone else live without your donation?
my less than 1 pint, wont make much difference to be honest, and I am doing the, things before you die list, I am not getting any younger, and I would like a small tattoo, so why not do it now, any older and I wouldn't concider it.
