you don't HAVE to transfer a salary, right? i can't see it in their T&Cs. just says direct debits, standing orders and bill mandatesKavanne

Hi folks,
Must you do the whole switching process with this, or can you just pick and choose which dd's, etc., you wish to transfer across ?
Have newly switched to A&L to get £100 and got £150 from Ulster Bank just prior to that. Might make sense to do this and keep as much as poss. in A&L as it pays 6% I presume that this one'll pay 0.1% ?
Cheers, folks.0 -
Zero rather than the heights of 0.1%. You can't pick and choose direct debits etc. to get the £50.0

Correct :T
Big Andy : Trick is to have an account elsewhere with just one or two payments held within it commonly called sleeper accounts and just use that for "complete" switches.0 -
It appears from the T&Cs that unlike A&L's switching offer you don't NEED direct debits to qualify... I've set one up with WWF just in case but I just set up a £1 SO on my old account and have submitted my switching request on nationwide online banking today so fingers crossedKavanne

I had a joint Flex account with the other half, so opened a new Flex in me own name when the offer was on and switched a couple of DD's and a SO from A+L. But not heard a dicky bird yet and nothing showing up online also...0

The £50 will be paid into qualifying FlexAccounts within 8 weeks of the transfer completing.
It's been 4 weeks since the offer started by my reckoning0
