Absolutely! An Earthship, wonderful. And for us to learn to steward the planet properly is very important to me, absolutely. Did you see BBC news this morning? A family of 3, who do supermarket shopping and buy glass jars from supermarkets (i.e. not out on the wildest fringe) they only send one bin a *year* to landfill - everything else they reuse or recycle. Amazing stuff, I wish I could get it down to that. Maybe in a couple of years.

    You go girl!

i did i saw it and straight away thought ...right what small thing am i going to do today ...watching kevin mccloud in the indian slums was staggering as well so ....i have to admit i do alot already ...but there is nothing stopping me from doing more ....

i have decided to leave uni ...i have not enjoyed it (as i am sure u are aware) i plan on finishing second year but thats it ( thats even if i can be bothered) ...

i still love my placement which is one of the reasons uni is no longer for me ... i want to do that kinda work...

a tragedy happened today ... the earthship is no more ... as a team we are saddened and gutted and will be taking time to re-evaluate things...

El, how sad about the earthship; and for you, since you're so unhappy there, and you've worked at trying to improve it (and I know you have) - well, you have to do what's best for you.

Is there a lesser qualification the two years will get you, a diploma or something?

i think i will land up with a hnd maybe but not sure as it is a honours degree ...either way karma i am honestly not bothered ...i have been struggling with trying to enjoy it since i started ... and today's upset really has brought it home to me that the job i was studying for is not for me ...

i plan on finally getting time to do my business ... this is where my passion is ...but i only want to do that part time ...i also want to do part time the type of job i am doing on placement ...being in nature is so soul rejuvinating, fascinating and fun ...so i would love to do both part time ...that would make me happy ...

i am so gutted for the earthship team ...they have put their hearts into the project for three years ... put thousands of hours work into it ...people from across the globe have been involved ... we were the only earth ship being built in europe ...and no nothing ...

    how are you ?
