Thanks taxi have been working it to. Be honest ... Vhristmas dinner was cheeseybeanos and have only seen hubby for about 3 hours since Xmas eve ... but that is the nature of my job ... Have had to order a power pack for my laptop as well ... It really is on it's last legs but I can't afford another one so I am making like a housewife in the war and making do and mending ... It's certainly teaching me alot ... This is on the iPhone sorry for spelling etc

Make do and mend is not a bad thing and I think in a way this recession and MSE has been good in making me realise what a waste of money some things are.

One of my 101 in 1001 tasks was to read various Wartime inspired books (things like Make Do and Mend and Eat for Victory - oh and of cours the Wartime Kitchen and Garden!) and to take them on board and use them! So I have been darning socks and joggers and mended Dr Dragons trouser pockets etc - so yeppers money saving all round there!

Hi el, I guess you are working silly hours and then trying to grab some sleep when the rest of us are awake......

Anyway, thank you for being my friend in 2009, and I hope that 2010 is a good one for you!
