oh i have 2.5 years yet to go till i am 40 so we have time ...but i need to atart planning etc now ...
what i would like to do
go to China see the great wall yangste (sp) river etc etc
nip down to Tibet do some volunteer work with a charity out there that deals with blindness (cause it is up so high they have higher than average instances of glucoma so they need sunglasses)
nip over to Nepal do some volunteer work there with the girls and families that are used to feed the families
pop on down to Goa (or somewhere similar) have 10 days beside the beach and rest
fly home
i'm thinking 10 days (approx) China
5 days Tibet (if we can get in that is)
5 days Nepal
10 days India
so 30 days in total ...its what i want to do but can i do it is another matter this would be my dream holiday ...and a good way to see if it is what hubby and i want to do ( we talk often about travelling and volunteering) ...but i think i would like to do some volunteer work and some resting as well0 -
For what it's worth EL...personally I'd pay the money off the debts as you have 2.5 years until your birthday and once debt is gone you'll have loads of money to put towards your dream. Also if you pay debt off it'll decrease the amount of interest owing.
I know it's hard all these deciscions.0 -
Yeah I know what you mean taxi .... Thing is all my debt is currently interest free .... But it still needs to be paid so .....0
-
and then at 2am i remembered my overdraft is not interest free ...duh ...no wonder my debt isnt going anywhere ...
well done my scratchies and have 4 layers of clothes on to try and save a bit on the gas and electricity ...but i do have my laptop back yay ...
shoulder still giving me jip ....i didnt fall asleep till after 5 am this morning it was that bad ...yesterday it was 6.30 am ...in a way thats ok as i am night shift tomorrow ...but in another that is no good with a sore shoulder0 -
It'll only be interest free for so long and it's getting harder to get 0% deals when they run out.0
