Hello Lauz and CAFCGirl, Lauz Im sure we'll all be rubbing off on you in no time. I've just recently been diagnosed with PCOS myself and have just taken my first course of clomid-and Im sure there are loads of us who have it and are still trying.
EA glad you're "feeling better" today. I'm full of cramps this afternoon. Have done mosty of the housework but i couldnt bring myself to work in the kitchen...it is such a mess. Having said that I should get in there because my first lot of wine is due for bottling tonight :D
Snugglepants DF and I decided just now that since it was you that fnally gave me the kick I needed to start making the wine after all these years of talk...and since you and I have the ttc thread in common...that we are going to put the very first bottle away, to be opened by df the day he brings me and the new bub home-whenever that happens.

Hi Lauzjp, you are welcome on either thread - whichever feels most comfortable to you! Can't say that I'm always optimistic (uh hum) but I do try to be...:D

So a big welcome and wishing you good luck for both your diet and your tests!

Call that a ramble?! You should see how much I sometimes waffle on for :rotfl:

I feel bad now. My sis inlaw had her baby last Tuesday and I was really jealous. However, she's been hit BADLY with PND. I feel awful now. I don't think there is anything do to help though unfortunately. Boo

That is very sad. I know this might sound odd, but if you do get the chance to spend time with her...take as many photo's as you can. When I had ds I got it so badly I was hospitalised for seven weeks. He stayed with my dad and stepmum and she refused to bring him to me very often. I dont really remember him in those weeks (even when he was with me) and I really regret the fact that I have so few photo's of the early days with him. She'll be grateful later...and in the meantime, just love her and she'll eventually be able to tell you how you can help.

Twinklie, I have to agree with polkadot - hard though you might find it, it is definitely the right thing to do hun, x

EA, so pleased you're feeling more PG today and yesterday was hopefully just an off day, we're all allowed them occasionally, even that sticky bean! Huge hug, x

Oh my goodness, you made me shed a few tears - in a good way! I'm so happy that in some small way I've had a positive impact on someone here :o I'm so glad that you're doing something special to mark the occasion, and that it involves planning ahead - it shows so much PMA and optimism, it's almost impossible for it not to rub off on me! I will dedicate a bottle of our Strawberry Wine to your future bub, and you can have it when it's born ;) Present to you all :D "vintage 2009" :D thanks for lifting my day so much!

For you all......here's something for you all to laugh at at my expense :o...........

Went to Tesco to pick up the twin pack of CB digi's before the offer ended.......only had the singles, still £4.70 odd, half price, so picked one up, and the twin pack of T/own pg tests - £2.70 odd for 2. Go to self service checkout, around 1:30pm today, HUGE queue behind me, and scan my bits through. Scan tesco's own pg test - "please wait for assistance" blaring out of the till speaker.....and "pregnancy test" in vivid letters on the screen in front of me....bearing in mind that the next in line is a foot away, if that! The longer the poor young whipper-snapper takes to get there, the more eyes I have on me, as the incessant mechanical woman's voice repeats "herself" at intervals (!!!). The young lad (bless him) doesn't realise what the problem is at first, until I tell him the security tag needs to be removed ) - he goes and does it (all eyes on me) unbearably slowly.......waves it around (not his intention, I'm sure!) and places it on the "counter". My last item comes up..........the CB digi (even worse, in a PLASTIC BOX!) and I scan it, woman repeats her phrase over until the lad finally realises (after 4 "excuse me!! excuse me, could you help me here"). Bear in mind I'm getting all the more worked up (trying to contain it, mind) as the queue has moved hardly at all (yes yes I know, stupid of me to go at lunch time on a SCHOOL HOLIDAY!!) so most of the people behind me are the people who were there at the last "incident". Whipper-snapper comes and, after some mumbled instructions from me, manages to dart across and free the test from its plastic prison and pop it back down, allowing me to pay up and leave as fat as I can!!!!!!!!

Ok, so you may laugh at me to your hearts content - seriously! I bl**dy well deserve it, as (trying to be MSE) I went and bought tests even before my 2ww......what's to be expexted!?!? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I laugh now :D

I totally agree with this, I suffered with PND after DD and it went undiagnosed for 9 months :eek::eek: I had such a battle with myself, because I knew that I wanted her so much, it was just the barrier being put up by my body as a defense mechanism that refused my true feelings access. I agree, take as many photos as possible - she will thank you so much in future - especially ones of them tohether, even more so the rare "bonding" moments - just make sure your camera is always ready ;) And bless you for being such a caring SIL :)

Great news about those swimmers kmckee! I hope they come in useful for you soon;)

CD28 and 11/12 DPO.... and I feel I need to test as early as possible:o 1 - because of taking tamiflu and 2 -I've been feeling worse in the mornings and I'm having a little niggling feeling it's because I'm pg:o:confused: Of course I'm more than likely probably not.... as DH says "You think you're pregnant evry month!":rotfl:

So when should I test??? I have 3 tests: 1 normal clearblue that says I can test from as soon as 4 days before AF and 2 digi's.

Ohhhhh I know I'm going to be be dissapointed:mad:
