I hope everyone is feeling ok today.
Goodluck to all that are testing soon. Sticky babydust to you all.
Im feeling much better today. Still hasn't sunk in yet. Im not going to even think about baby bits etc until Im over the 12wk mark. But otherhalf says we should wait until we find out the sex of them. I would prefer just to buy nuetral bits and bobs when the time is nearer. And have the sexes be a surprise.
He on the other hand wants to know the sexes so we can prepare. (If we have one of each sex he wants matching car seats in pink and blue) lol. He is becoming a nightmare with what he wants.
He even said he thinks he is suffering my sickness lol as he felt sick this morning and didnt want his breakfast. I looked at him and said "of course you are love".
Well hope you are all feeling ok today. I will drop in again this evening to chat and catch up.

Hi Everyone,
Forgive the intrusion, I was just hoping someone could help me....
I joined one of the original threads a while back and then had to take some time away from it as I felt I was all over the place emotionally....
I was pregnant this time last year and the pregnancy didnt continue. I wont go into too much about that because I've got my positive hat on and want to move forward.
For the past 6 months I would class myself as having been "proactively not avoiding getting pregnant" rather than proactively trying to get pregnant... if that makes sense...
However now I just feel like its time that I take the plunge and go at it (excuse the pun) in a much more determined manner.
I've literally today started my AF for this cycle and I have been tracking my recent cycles on fertility friend and my average is a 30 day cycle, and I seem to ovulate around CD19/20.
I've just ordered some more ovulation strips, and am considering the SMEP is the right way to go for DH and I.....
But then I guess Im just scared of the whole thing happening all over again, and I think I need support in the whole thing. DH is really positive, but ive had 2 cycles were I was so convinced I was pregnant again and then was devastated.....
Sorry everyone, rant/vent over.....thanks for listeningWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Looks like you've come to the right place CAFCGirl. The ladies on this thread are AMAZING! I've been lurking more than posting for about 6 months and probably been in the same position as you...."proactively not avoiding getting pregnant" .
However, now we are trying. Just reading through all the info these ladies have shared has made me feel more comfortable with these things. And some of the stories of really awful circumstances to amazing results are really uplifting. There are plenty of people on here that will have experienced your situation and will be able to offer you support.
I find it a great help on here purely because I don't want anyone in the "real world" to know what we are up too. Fingers crossed everything goes well this time and you get a sticky bean!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi Girls,
CD40 something now and I'm starting to get worried that AF hasn't shown. I have done three pregnancy tests now and are all negative. Its starting to get me down and worried incase there is a problem with me. How long should I wait before I go to the doctors? I was thinking another two weeks.

Hello ladies...
I think the weekend has got the better of me...Im tired, and I have heartburn...and I got a call from my doctors surgery today. He wants me to come and see him on friday, and also complete some lifestyle forms  and now Im really nervous.Last time I saw him, he gave me a new prescription for my antidepressants and referred me back to the psychiatrist.
Im on cd 6 today, finished the clomid yesterday and Im already noticing a change in my cm. Anyone else had clomid and noticed anything like that?
Nicky congratulations...thats wonderful news.
I just noticed DS is asleep so I think Im going to go and join him for an hour. I might be able to be more productive when I come back.0 -
kencokenco wrote: »Hello ladies. well I have been bleeding slightly overnight, soo phoned my consultant instead of the gp.
I managed to speak to the consultant who was going to start me on clomid officially. You know the really nice one. Any how, he said in his words "I can see you are not going to stop worrying until you have a scan, so I am prepared to let you come inot the private clinic today and I will scan you to make sure all is ok. Could you possibly get here within the next 1hr, I can scn you during my lunch break.?) I reply "oh are you sure, I really phoned you for some reassurance, you dont have to do this"
His response "no dont me silly, you and your partner have been through enough, so lets get this done today, you can then relax over the weekend"
Long and short of it, had the scan, Im 5wks 3 days and have what the doctor described as not one but 2 little heart beats. OMG! I have a picture. you cant really see to much but I would love to share it with you all. but dont know how to post it on here??
Anyone know how to do it please, so I can show you all.
I am sooo relieved. he seems to think it is just a little blood from the lining etc as things are moving around in their so to speak, and like he said, I have gone from having no periods at all. to getting one from nowhere to getting pregnant. Im still on edge at the moment though and will continue to take it easy for a while.

Hi again CAFCgirl, I know that some of us on here have been through similar to you and fully understand your situation and emotions that go hand in hand with it. I won't say any more either but am always happy to chat if you want to.
Aside from that, some of us are still here plodding along and still praying for that elusive sticky bean, but I for one do try to live in hope! Have good days and bad days, still cry when somebody has good (or very bad) news and try really hard to keep from OH just how frustrated I feel at times.
So here's the sharing the ups and downs with you when you feel like it, x0
