Trying For a Baby III

(((hugs))) ellie - hoping its just your body playing tricks on you xx
Thanks for the stay put vibes for my friend, hope they work. As far as I know she's got nothing baby-wise even in the house  but her mum's on the way so hopefully an extra pair of hands will help.
CD17 here, defo ovd 2 days ago, now in my 2ww, and to be honest will be relieved if I get a bfn - seeing the fear and terror on my mate's OH's face yesterday has given me a bit of a fright myself...Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
I'm really sorry, I don't really know what to suggest. Could someone travel over to be with you? It is a big deal and will be very stressful even if the outcome is entirely positive (and that is possible you know, some women do have completely unexplained bleeds then do on to have a perfectly healthy baby). Does your bloke fully realise the implications of tomorrow, that you may well be waking him up to tell him the bean's gone? Could you explan to him how worried you are and that you would really value his support? Could he not even get the night of work?Updating soon...0

Thank you all! I know - i am hoping all is ok and maybe it was just my body telling me to de-stress. But i also want to be prepared for the worst as i don't take news like that very well -i'll be crying my eyes out all the way home if it is bad.
OH is being a complete a**e at the moment - he is usually lovely but at times he gets pretty horrible (he deffinately has men's PMT, lol)- he could get the time off but simply won't as his attendance record just means so much to him, grrr. I don't think he is thinking properly so i hope he'll come though and just come with me tomorrow but i doubt it. He is a seriously stubborn person.
I have to be at Eastbourne hospital at 8am so very early and it is a mission to get there from here, unfortuantely they only scan for an hour a day for early pregnancy, i am concerned about taking DD incase it is bad news. As i have to be on the 1st train just after 6am it is too early to send her into nursery for an emergancy session which they allow. I'm sure i'll cope just not looking forward to the scan at allMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Good morning all you lovely lady folk x x
I am sat inside surfing MSE with a nice hot cup of steaming tea while DP is outside digging up the garden...ho ho it's such a hard life .
Another day off work for me so I will be shopping, returning library book so I don't get a fee, batch cooking some chicken and veg pies and low fat curry, cleaning the bathroom (oh poo!) and then having a good hours walk in the Autumn sunshine with three poochies.
Courgette: Good luck after last night's BD, let's hope you and DP have hit the bullseye. As long as I don't say to DP that nookies tonight is with the intention of TTC, he is fine. If I say it is to make a baby it sort of kills the atmosphere for him - lol I am not surprised really, I haven't shut up about it for months. He is starting to roll his eyes when I coo over frilly dresses and little boy's dungarees in shops.
Smartie: Glad you had a good night, I pity you and O/H getting up at 5am...it was so c-c-c-c-cold this morning. It took me all my time to get up at 7am and put the kettle on.
Casey: Have you thought about looking for another dentist? I know there isn't many around atm but it is important to like and trust the person that is in your mouth...lol if you know what I mean.
Bitzer: Virtual hugs for your friend, I hope everything turns out okay for her.
I can totally sympathise with your migraine - have had ocular migraines before. I usually get a really bright squiggle of light in one eye that gets bigger and bigger, eventually it blows itself out and I am left with a nagging headache. They seemed to come on after my eyes had been stimulated by bright lights (usually sunshine). The doctor took me off the pill when I told her about them and then I haven't had one since. P.S. I did find Syndol (you get it from the chemist) a good painkiller when one came on.
Gorgeous Ellie: Fingers crossed you will be okay hon. Let us know how you get on with your scan. x x
And regarding your O/H being a bit distant, this could be his way of coping with the situation. Pregnancy and what you are going through is never an easy time. Men are funny creatures who tend to distance themselves rather than get drowned in emotions. I think many men fear looking weak if they cry or show outward signs of stress. Most other women have similar complaints about there blokes when they are PG, look at link.

But just for now, focus on you and what is going on with your body...rather than the moody partner...you're far more important. x x x
