I have saved the abbr in to my faves, thankyou. Am sat here on my day off from uni hoping that my AF doesn't come and then at the same time trying to tell myself not to think about it.Married 09/09/090

I think so - fertility friend put the first date I had proper bleeing as the start of my new cycle.
so no idea, I've googled and there's lots of conflicting advice but is all from what peope say/have been told. I've never found a conclusive answer in a medical article.
Sorry Smartie, not much help am I?!!?:D

Oh dear, I think I will be out of the running fairly imminently, over the last hour or so, I've got quite bad tummy and back ache and I'm feeling slightly sick
- although that could be to do with the enormous viennese finger I've just eaten
.
Me thinks I could be in for an evening in bed with a hot water bottle or 3. Thank goodness I now have a swanky little netbook so I can still keep up on here as well as feeling like poo.0 -

Ooh I just bought a sexy notebok (a pink one!!) due to arrive on Friday. I can't wait!!! I won £100 on sun b!ngo (funded account £10 to play for their car prize draw but it's over now so I withdrew and sloped away!) and just transferred £30 from foxy zer0 free bingo and £10 from free scratchies on butl!ns so I can almost half pay for it with winnings and ebay sales and there's more fundraising in the pipeline so I don't feel guilty buying it...
If I can't have a baby yet I will have to take pleasure from other things. I am saving up though as well for my baby fund, don't worry fellow MSEs!0 -
Well done katy a nice guilt-free pressie for yourself:D:D
Smartie - Have googled(not easy to find factual info!) and there's no definitive answer as it can depend on the individual:rolleyes: Typical:rolleyes:
So basically what I've discovered is...if you've had spotting before AF before then it's normal,so for someone like me who has spotting before AF every month you can count it as cd1, however if it's not a normal occurence for you then you can ignore it and just wait for AF to arrive.
Never straight-forward is it?
There's a link below I found as well, thought it might be helpful to newbies:)

Hi ladies, I'm still lurking
Mainly because a)I'm nosey b) cos I like reading the good news and c) this thread really helped me earlier this year.
I've come out of lurkdom because there's been a few questions about OV/af after mc so I thought I'd add my 2p and share my experiece in the hope it might help someone
As has been said before everyone is different but here's what happened to me...
I had a natural mc at around 5 and a half weeks. The bleeding started as very light spotting (lasted just shy of 2 weeks in total) and by the time I had a scan a week later there was nothing to see and a BFN. I ov'd about 2 weeks after that and got my next BFP 36 days after I first started spotting. My normal cycle was 26 days.
Maybe so other ladies might come out of lurkdom to share their stories as I know I always like to read about a real persons experience rather than a random google
