Thank you both for the info, the problem I have is that I have no idea how long my cycle is likely to be as this will be the first since the mc and I haven't had any obvious ov signs yet (used to get pains on either side - last time I had those was a couple of days after D&C). I'm only assuming it will go back to my normal 28/29 days, but have no idea if this will be the case in reality
Hi LilDevil - just been back and checked, and after my first mc, my period arrived 32 days after the mc started (can't remember when it ended, as I've blanked it out, but it dragged on for aaaages). This time, I'm hoping my first cycle after the mc will be a similar length too, but it's only a fortnight ago, so I've got a while to wait. I suppose everyone's different, and it may take a little longer for hormones to settle down after a D&C. Hope this helps, and you're not waiting too long. Big hugs.
Lovely and sunny outside here, which certainly helps lift my mood. Best wishes to everyone....0 -

Yup and then you have to admit to your parents that Yes, you have actually had sex:eek: Not so bad as you get older but my sister had to tell my parents when she was 20.....she was so worried and had to properly psych herself up for it:rotfl::rotfl:
hehehe...bizarrely, its not my parents im worried about...its the Oh's elderly aunts ( 70ish and 80 ) they are very "marriage, house, child" in that order...whereas my nan (82) doesnt see the point in hanging around (read as another great grandchild:T:T:T:T)Kent Bird!:beer:0 -

Thanks for sharing your experience, I know it's different from person to person, but very frustrating when you have no idea what's going on anymore, it's like starting from scratch all over again!
I bled for two weeks following D&C, then I had another bleed (of sorts, quite light even for me!) about 2 weeks after that, so started counting my CD from then, if it was a proper AF then I should be CD18 now, I've never known the month to drag by so slowly waiting to find out (roughly) how long my cycle will be!!0 -
It is unfortunately different for everyone - my 1st cycle after MC would actually have been shorter than normal as I ov'd almost a week early.0

If she stays away, was going to try to leave it until the Friday so the 2nd of Oct.
Have a slight cramp and some spotting so the witch may be here early. Will have to wait it out I think0 -
Hello to all newbies and oldies:D
I've just been thinking and I need advice.... I bled in total for about 2 weeks last month because of early mc. It started with a week of spotting but I counted CD1 as the day I started proper bleeding.
Should the day I started spotting be CD1???? If thats the case AF is due today:eek: And looking back I don't know for sure I OV'd. No obvious cm and I didn't do any tests or temps. I had some spotting the other day but it was only a bit.
I don't feel pg at all (although I did the other day cos of my boobage:o:rotfl:) so I'm expecting AFBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
first morning urine ( I think!). It jus means your first wee of the day as the hormones are more concentrated and you're more likely to get a BFP if there's one to be had (BFP = big fat positive, ie you're pg - sorry if you already know that one though!)
Good luck!
Thankyou very much for your help.Married 09/09/090 -
