  • :j:j Congrats to al bfps and tlps:D:D:D

Just a quickie, gotta sort out the mess these morons created while I was away:rolleyes::mad: At least it gives me something to do:)
I'm going to be a bit quieter on here from now on(or at least try:p) mainly because the past week, being away from the computer and generally having fun has made me a lot more relaxed and it suddenly dawned on me that I was letting charting & ssing take over a little, especially as I get obsessive about things:o So heres me taking a backseat, will still do the list though coz I'll still be needing a testing date :D:D:D

Hope alls ok with everyone else and lots of sticky babydust to you all xxxxxxxx

confuzzled - that's exactly the point I reached a bit earlier this month. Feels quite good to be less stressed about ttc doesn't it?!

stickybabydust to the rest of you ladies ;)
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.

It feels like a huge weight has been lifted tbh:o I didn't realise how obsessed I was becoming until I took a step back from it all!
Also our closest friends have confessed to having started ttc so I have somene to obsess with in RL now:D Although I did warn her shes not allowed to catch before me:p And I've also warned her about the obsessive ssing, and she's already started, had about 5 texts off her this morning:rolleyes::rotfl: She'll soon learn:)

  • Hi Guys, welcome back Confuzzled and Congrats on the TLP Gena!!!

I feel blue today .... I'd been feeling really positive over the weekend cos no AF pains and last cycle was 32 days which would have been Sunday. Chatting to DH about my cycle and how I was waiting to test when normally I go through all the ups and downs on my own without bothering him and we were talking about what it would be like to have another one..... Anyway did a cheapie test yesterday - Yes all of you feel free to give me a virtual slap:o!! Was BFP and AF has arrived this morning with lots of cramps.....
So cross me off the list for this month.

On a lighter note obviously my DH is exactly the same as most of the others, we didn't have DS for a week so had a few 'dates' and were chatting about getting preggers so he said 'lets go home now and try once more to make sure' ....again had to explain that when nearly through the 2ww it doesn't really work like that! He looked a bit green, nodded and said he understood how it all works now .... but it's obvious he doesn't and we will probably have this conversation again:rotfl:

I don't feel like working now so anyone around for a chat?!
  • congrats on your tlp Gena, fingers crossed xxx

I'm here for a chat:) Just managed to finish sorting the pile of carp left on my desk and have done all damage limitation phonecalls from the destruction this lot left while I was gone:rolleyes: Never leave men alone in an office, they spend money/mess up tidy desks/destroy important documents(someone actually shredded a clients house deeds!!!) Not a happy customer there!
    Think its me time now:)

  • Thanks, I am really looking forward to next month actually. We had such a sh*tty year last year and I nearly walked out but things have been so much better and as I've probably said we've had probs in the bedroom department but things are looking up so to speak so I'm looking forward to getting AF over and done with and just being able to get some fun in. Have been good at not obsessing over baby-making but more just enjoying us having some fun together.........so bring on next week!!;)

DS has lovely new room which he loves and keep looking wistfully at the old nursery turned rubbish tip and itching to get it tidied up but will not touch it until there is a reason!

On a happy note my sister had her 12 week scan and all is well and healthy (big relief!) Although her husband thought it looked too active for his liking - wiggling and moving around - he wanted to see it reading a book so he can be sure of a peaceful life when it arrived :rotfl: Can't wait to see his face when reality kicks in:rolleyes:

I know what you mean about having a holiday - normally first day back in the office and you need another one to recover from all the mess left for you and crossed wires and muddled messages! However when someone goes away and leaves me to cover, I always manage to get things done.... Why is that .....??!!!
  • Oh and I've just checked my diary and I really want to get pg this month (as opposed to all the other months??!!) cos we have booked a holiday to Nice with my parents so 1) Don't want to have AF whilst on hols and 2) Would be nice to take the test on hols and be able to tell them there and then!
Hmmmm if only everything in life worked out just the way we wanted .........
  • How can you have a room full of stuff without tidying it?!?! I wouldn't be able to relax if it was me!!! Although I do tend to start tidying a room and get bored:o We have 3 rooms at least that need the other half of it sorting out lol Although my new plan starts from today, no flobbing on sofa when I get home, it's brew, tidy/re-home 1 bag/box, cook dinner, wash pots, relax:) With DH probably keeping out of my way:rotfl::rotfl:

Glad you and your OH are having fun together, makes it all that bit easier:) And YAY, that sister baby is wriggle, diggle, dumpling:D Her OH is gonna get one hell of a shock when she gives birth:rotfl::rotfl:

And on work front, I'm the only one in my job so if I'm not here it doesn't get done! Although I did leave a list of instructions of what needs doing/when/how much it'll cost etc I'd have thought that 4 blokes all with a degree could've managed that!!!

  • The room is driving me crazy but I'm trying not to think about it. We have been so busy tidying, decorating, gardening etc and my list of things to do gets longer every day so I've put that to the bottom of priorities.
Once it's tidied it will also need decorating - currently Thomas the Tank Engine, so don't want to do that and then hopefully have to do it later again!
I was going to do some more work tonight but going out with the girls instead YEY!!
Will leave a list of jobs for DH to do while I am out ......................... bet I can think of the excuses he will make before he does:rotfl:
