    Depends what i'm laughing at I suppose...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

But I totally agree - after going through a mc and then ttc it can put huge pressure on you both - i can't remember who posted here a few days ago that their other half had requested not to know when she was ovulating so he didn't feel 'used' i mentioned that to my other half but currently he seems quite happy for me to use him!!!! :j
    Kkxx
  • Was me that posted about other half not wanting to know lol

In work bored at the moment and its lovely and sunny out  never mind going away next sunday for a week :j but staying in the same apartment as DH family so that will be fun

Does mean though that DH has decided to bd for cymru this next week just in case its out of the question when we are away :rotfl: and just happens to be the week that i should be ov ;)

    Wonderful how things work out

Hope you are all enjoying the sun

Sticky baby dust to all xxxxxx
  • Where has all the lovely sun gone?? im freezing!!

Congratulations on the BFP Skintgypsy! :j

Well i'm not sure if i have done enough this month, got to my most fertile day and it didnt happen as neither of us were in the same place LOL!
Just hope that i Ov'd a few days earlier or something.
  • Hi all, don't think I've said congrats skintgypsy - congrats! :j

Very quiet everywhere today, in real life and on the forums. OH and I are glossing our doors, and my back is gonna give out soon I'm sure. Either that or I'll be overcome by fumes!

Anyway, CD17 and 2DPO here. Am so relaxed and laid back about it all this month, not entirely sure what caused my total "180" but I'm liking it. I'm a much nicer person to be around when every waking thought is not about ttc. I don't look at pg ladies with gnawing envy anymore, more a sort of wistfulness (though they're still *everywhere*!)

CAFC - what a nice dream, hope it comes true!

Kamperkat - I was the same, we waited a few weeks after my mc, so that I'd become quite nervous about bding again. I ended up feeling like a teenager trying to keep my man at bay because I wasn't ready!:D:D

Suzy - did you bd beforehand? If you did it close enough it might still be enough.

Gettingthereslowly - there's no sun here, please send us some:cool:

I did my (first) test this morning - BFN. But by now I'm already convinced I'm pg - I know I should be more sensible than this but I'm comparing my feelings to the last time I was pg, and the lack of energy/slight nausea does feel the same (even though I can get both at any time of the month it feels stronger now). So ... obsessed ttc'er that I am I did another test and scrutinised it under the light - and I *think* I can see a very very faint line. I showed OH (didn't tell him I'd done a 2nd test though:o) and he said he could see it too - though I had to point it out and he might have been humouring me! So now I should wait two more days and test again (apparently the hcg doubles every 48 days). But I'm on my own now and tonight and consequently tomorrow morning so I may be weak.

    Love and babydust xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
  • Aw Gena, sending loads of sticky baby dust your way. Do you chart/temp? it might give some hints?

Thanks Scotsgirl, this is my first time temping, so all I know is that my temp is still high, but I don't know if that is usual for my cycle or not. I just have to be patient.:D
  • lol! Everyone is a bit different, but I find that my temp starts to drop down a few days before AF arrives, and by the time it shows up the temp is at or very close to the cover line. The same actually happened when I MC - the temp dropped off first. I also find my temp goes up higher when I'm pregnant (it rises when implantation occurs) but not everyone gets this)

I have my fingers tightly crossed for you

Hi ladies. I'm not too down about the ttc being on hold because we are managing to substitute it with other adventures. I'll just have to kidnap my nephew a bit more for baby cuddles. Although the nightmare time my bro and sis inlaw are having with their little one, it's kinda put me off a bit in the immediate future (or at least thats what I'm telling myself) anyway.

OH has got a PhD down in North Wales (about 10, 15 mins away from where my sis lives). It's a fully funded one which could lead him to a very well paid job. It also means his skills are marketable globally, so should help with our emigration. Apparently USA, Canada, Oz and New Zealand are all after what he's doing and its a very new field. Yey!

So fingers crossed we can find a caravan for him to live in and which will double up as a holiday home for us both! Just need to figure out how to find a descent site now.

  • Thanks for all the congrats ladies! Feel a bit of a fraud being here to be honest; it doesn't feel real.

Scotsgirl, how's that bean of yours getting on? I too have tested about six times so far, but five of them were poundland cheapies. Am waiting for a while to do a digital with conception indicator, just to see that the hormones are doing what they should. Not taking anything for granted after last time! Signs are all good though.

Hope everyone else is well and here's hoping for a bumper crop of summer babies! xx
