Hey everyone,

Went for our first scan yesterday & there's a lovely little baby with a strong heartbeat :j Sonographer agreed we were 10+2 which meant I was right and the midwife was wrong she had us at over 11 weeks! Baby's EDD is now 24th March.

We were incredibly relieved but I have to say fairly disapointed with the scan (I sound really ungrateful sorry ) It was just that they made OH sit outside with DD until the very end - leaving me on my own & them missing out - and then once they were called in the woman turned the screen around & let us see the baby for all of 10 seconds. I appreciate the point of the scan is to check the baby medically and not really for the parents benefit but I felt like I blinked & missed it - not great for bonding. We went private with DD so I appreciate we probably got extra long to watch her in her scan.

Anyway, now I'm going to try & figure out how the heck you upload a photo to share with you.

Hi all! Had my 12 week scan today. Remember at the early scan they stole 9 days from me? Well i took 5 days back today lol.
Im 12+6 now.

congrats to both nikabella and EA on your sticky healthy beans, so glad your scans went well, even if yours wasnt quite as expected nikabella

Awww, tell your son he is lovely and thank you

My 4 or 5 (i forgot again :rotfl:) year old brother said "aww" at them and my 6 yr old brother went "thats good..." lol.
My sister is very excited though

And my dad and step-mums little boy who is 6 to, said "it looks like a monkey.." :rolleyes:

It's not a very clear picture I'm afraid & the sonographer would only do us one but you can see the head, body and nose.

anyways I'm checking out for a week now. Fingers crossed for a few bfps when I get back
