Many congrats Gill, you've just managed to make the August announcements (virtual) list! :j:j:j

Becs, sorry you've had it so rough this time around, onwards and up for this cycle, fingers crossed, x

    Smartie, sorry, xx

So glad to see you back Kmckee and Penny :hello: - for the right reasons, obviously I would rather you were both busy on the PG board, but still happy for your company back on here!

Ooh, great scans EA and Nikabella! :T :T Thank you so much, they always make me very tearful - two more beautiful lives in the making, many congratulations, I'm so jealous ;):o

Absolutely no news from me, same old same old! Waiting for AF to appear any day now then we'll start all over again - just for a change ;)

    Courgette, why hiding?!

Morning all, I think I've finally caught up on everything! Congrats :j to all those with BFPs and :grouphug: dodgy hugs to those that need them. Loved looking at the scans too (just a little bit jealous!)

Things here are OK, still bleeding after the mc, so hoping that will stop soon so we can start BDing again. Will be back at work on Wednesday too which is a bit of a bummer!

Smartie, I don't know what to say hun, I'm keeping everything crossed for you x

Jacobsmum, if you ov on the 12th, I'd say test AFTER your period is late, if you know when your period is due. If not I've heard 18dpo (days past ovulation) then test as this is long enough for you to have missed AF.

nice_nursie, (TMI) as long as you're not itchy down there and the cm is not smelly it's fine

I've got a test in the bathroom cupboard that has been looking at me for 3 days, but I'm being a good girl and I'm leaving it until between tomorrow and Friday:p

I've still not had any spotting or anything and AF is due today/tomorrow, but I've been looking at my charts and I seem to be having a long cycle then a short one and this month could be a long one, so I could be waiting up to 35-37 days and I'm on CD33 today:confused:

  • Hello everyone

Just been lurking and catching up wishing luck to everyone who needs it.

Not a lot TTC for me. Since finding out about the extremely low chance of DH being able to father naturally we've relaxed a little (not even dtd for fun!) whilst I have had blood taken every couple of weeks, and have a consultant appointment on 9th september. Fingers crossed something can be done. I keep thinking I want to tell someone what we're going through but DH is reluctant as he doesn't want to people to know he's a failure. Maybe after the initial appointment ...

Went camping on Saturday and found out dear friend who came with us 4 months pregnant. she didn't tell me officially so i didn't need to respond - she confided in DH first (even b4 her best friend who was also there) and then just as we were leaving told him he could tell me (he had already so I could prepare a response if she told me!) Really happy for her, but selfishly sad for me!

Sorry for long post ..... just feeling a little carpy and weather's poo to make it worse!

cedrickerry, your OH is not a failure! There are a lot of men who have fertility problems, he's not alone

I don't blame you for feeling sad about your friend, but at least she's done it tactfully and not come steaming in "I'm pregnant, everyone give me attention" like I've seen a lot recently

Please feel free to let it all out on here, we'll all listen xxx

O stupid work computer is blockin certain pages on the thread, so can only access this one!!!

Hi all, sorry to read so many feelin the blues (((hugs))) pick up soon, need some sunshine yes yes yes :)

Cedrickerry i can so empathise with u lovey, my DH analysis wasn't good, the first one was low which i knew then he had 2nd which he told me was better!
However in my app at fertility clinic last wk i saw his results and although the 2nd set had millions more his motility was only 6% when it should be 40 - 50% so that made him feel rubbish :(
Trouble is owning a chip shop has prob fried his little swimmers for the past 20 yrs but difficult to control really!! He has been out and bought iron and mens vitamins hopin to boost them, but as im not workin quite right either hopefully his would have improved by the time im OV...

    Good luckx x
  • thanks guys ...I know he's not a failure .... but in his head ........ he's started letting himself go a little since we found out too, which is frustrating - eating rubbish (he lost 3 stone last year) and back on caffeine and alcohol diets! gonna try and start him on vitamins but at the moment he things there's no point ...bless him!
    !
Our friend doesn't know how serious we are ttc (7 yrs so we just joke it off! )but she wants to keep her pgy quiet for a while (not sure how long as she is very tiny and 4+ months already!)

Looking forward to hols in 3 weeks a welcome distraction
