I'd say I'd do it but since it will be the first week back at school I doubt I'll be on here enough to keep track. :p

I lived in Colorado. It was amazing. I'd live back out there in a heartbeat. However, immigration laws being what they are - we don't qualify to get in!! I was only there on a temporary visa. But I would never have come home if I didn't have to. I LOVED it there.

Have a wicked time. I'll be sorely jealous - tell us EVERY detail when you get back. Well, maybe not every detail. ;)

  • Morning ladies! So much to catch up on after a lovely weekend in the caravan! Great news on the BFP's and all those scan pics - big congrats!

Wanted some opinions if anybody is out there - I have been testing on the ebay cheapie ov kits since Wed 26th which was CD14 for me (usually 32-34 days) and they have all been very clearly negative. I forgot to test on Sunday and then did a test yesterday which brought up a faint line on the test line. According to the packet a faint line is a negative - why???? Then I went back to the bathroom a while later and there was a strong positive line but the packet says not to read after 30 mins and this was probably an hour later. So I will test again today but could I have ov on Sunday when I didn't test which is why it came up faint yesterday? Should you see a positive reading for more than one day or is the window really that small???
Had a nice bd yesterday night and seemed to have some clear white sticky mucus today. Am very confused !! (easily done!!)

Feeling a bit more positive after seeing a line on the ovpk (starting to think I wasn't!!) so put me down on the testing list for 15th September please.

Big hugs to all of you who need them xx
  • Argh now I want it to be thursday so I know if you're pg or not! It's so funny that you can get so excited about people testing on here! :D

I'll pass on looking after the list.....maybe twinklie? Think she's done it before?
Hehe I know what you mean, I find it more exciting waiting for everyone elses news rather than my own:D Think it's my way of protecting my sanity incase it's a bfn....it's like a huge slap in the face/kick in the gut/general beating seeing that come up on a test!!

  • Hi jacqhale - The reason a faint line is a negative is because we have the hormone it tests for in our bodies anyway - when the line is as strong as, or stronger, than the control line it means there's been a surge of it, which precedes ovulation. As for the clear white sticky mucous......that could be "leftovers" :rotfl: That's what I find so annoying about checking CM! Test again today, but I'd be inclined to keep an eye on CM and test if you feel the need, as it could have been an invalid result. They usually say leave 10mins to check if it's +/- how long did you leave it the first time?
  • I agree, I think it's a way of distracting yourself too :) it breaks up the weeks before ov, and the 2ww! :D

Ha Ha:rotfl: I meant to say that I'd thought of that but I don't think it was cos I looked at it really hard:D and I've noticed a bit of difference for a few days! Or maybe I'm just kidding myself:rolleyes:
I didn't realise about the hormone being present anyway I got all excited! Normally I've tested and there's never even been a hint of a test line so have just thrown away after a few mins. This time though faint line came through almost straight away, meant to go back and look later but left it for about an hour and the line was really strong so very confused and will give up wondering 'what if' and just tet again today when back from work and see what happens. Thanks!:T

    Hi:)

    Have a great holiday confuzzled!

Wellllll.... the bleeding I had on Sun night was hardly anything. I thought it was going to be bad because of my quite bad AF type pains:o I was in pain again last night but nothing else:confused:

FF said AF due on Sunday and MMC said it was due yesterday (I put both OV's on both). So today is a new day of dreading each toilet visit.

If I have had chem preg/mc would AF be late??

And please don't anyone ask me to test again.... because I really don't want too :(

Ah smartie, well you know as well as I do that something might be delaying AF, but try not to think of the worst things - I would just convince myself it is because of stress, tiredness or something like that. You do not have to test any time if you don't want to hun, you can avoid them like I'm doing at the moment! Hang in there as I bet AF will appear the moment you start to relax about it :o

Confuzzled - have a great trip and come back soon to tell us all about it, Pics please! x

Jacqale, it is just possible you are OV later this cycle as you are watching for it and the stress to get a positive I find can delay the retched thing! I tend to get a distinct negative line for a couple of days before I get the strong positive one so I know it is coming, if that makes sense? If you were positive on Sunday, I would really expect you to have seen a line on Saturday - just not a strong one!

Awww Smartie of course you don't have to test. Just go about your normal routine and try (she says) to think of other things. Keep busy and see what happens. After my time last cycle I wouldn't put anyone under pressure.

Having said that, hows things aside from the ttc business? I'm having a month off this month (although my name is on testing list - should take it off really).
