  • Hi Ladies

Can I join your fab group?? Me and DH have been trying just a month since we married but no luck so far - got AF today, but quite happy in a sense as is my 30th and a wedding in a couple of weeks so happy to be able to drink :beer:

Looking forward to trying again this month ;), although not really sure of my cycle as just come off the pill and was 35 days this month so not really sure when I'll have my OV, what does anyone recommend to work this out?

    Good Luck to you all

Hi and welcome! That's a hard one to answer - I personally haven't experienced that sort of pain after a MC, but certainly did when my gall bladder started to play up!

    I'll PM you...

BTW a link for the abbreviations can be found here:

    http://www.tryingtoconceive.com/abbrevs.htm

Thanks for your PM and helpful reply with the link, I shall get myself acquainted with the lingo. I'll post again once I have some news, or if anything comes back re: the blood tests I've just had.

Best of luck to everybody here in your endeavours. :kisses3:
  • Welcome cheekymonkey and sir monster

Saw kindofagilr's scan pics, sooo cute :)

In a much happier mood today....I finally got some ;):p :rotfl: Bless him, he was in a little fake strop because of the day before - soon sorted that out :rotfl:

smartie - how long is SIL round for? If only the weekend, I'd just wait til Monday (easier said than done I know!), let the hormone build up if you are pg and have something to look forward to doing when she's gone! Can I ask what made you do 2 lots of opks? Did you think you were fertile again?

sir monster - I came off the pill in June, my 1st cycle was 41 days, this cycle is probably going to be 35/6 days by the looks of it, but I don't know how long my LP is as I couldn't figure out when ov'd last cycle (except for ov pains, but didn't record when they were as was looking for EWCM). This cycle I tried temping, but as it's the summer hols etc it hasn't worked out, so will try that next month. So kept an eye out for EWCM, then started doing OPK's when that showed up. I got a positive OPK on tues evening, so I should have ov'd 24-36 hrs after that. I think the options are to either just forget about looking for signs and just bd like rabbits ;) or temp or use OPKs, or both or all three :D I would say don't expect your cycle to be the exact length this month or next - any time I've come off the pill it's taken a while for my cycles to settle down to some vague sort of pattern! Good luck for this month :D

Good morning ladies, sorry i didn't get a chance to post yesterday, life in the Leopard house is good, a little manic with work, but we are happy and have started this months bding, although OH prefers to think of it as enjoying ourselves. He doesn't like me going on here as he thinks you all make me a little crazy!?

Anyway, welcome to the newbies, sorry i can't help cheeky, no pains like that for me following mc.

Good luck and stop testing smartie, wait until next week, i know it is tough, but that way you have some time to take in AF if she turns up, it sounds too much like you are pg, but testing too early and at the wrong times of day! Stop testing! :)

    Well off for a meeting,

loads of baby dust to you all :)

My first opk was the usual testing from CD8 ish and I got a positive earlier than normal plus what I thought was OV bleeding. A week later one evening I had LOTS of cm, some that was ewcm so I had an urge to test and a line came up straight away. Tested again the next day (afternoon and evening:o) and again had a positive straightaway. So confusing:confused:

Off to pick up SIL from train station. She was supposed to be here until Tues.... but it's now SUNDAY!!!:j:j:j:j:j(Yes I am happy about that;):D)

And I was sick this morning:o
