Thought I'd just warn you!!!
Cheers Cedrickerry, I'll prepare him psychologically! He's a total clean freak anyway so with an early morning appointment he'll be spick and span and good as new!:T0 -

Smartie - please, please use a First Response next time you test & preferably with FMU. FR are very sensitive & have showed up as a BFP for me when I was pregnant & other brands wouldn't. If you google Clear Blue especially Digi you will find there are a lot of people who haven't found them accurate when testing early/at AF date with them.
I would say there is 2 scenarios here; one is the chance you could be pregnant with the FLP you have had especially if you are only 7 DPO, however, the second is that it could have been a chemical pregnancy which would have meant the FLP which has then become negatives.
I hope you get the result you are dreaming of.

Oh jeez, this is like a minefield to me, click on link after link but cannot find it. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find out what all these abbreviations mean?
Also, has anyone experienced 'stabbing, excrutiating' pain in their stomach after miscarriage? I had my miscarriage Feb 14th (very sad day) was due for my 3mnth scan on Feb 20th. After the miscarriage, I developed these pains. I had to go for a check-up 2wks later whereby they did a scan and said everythings ok, nothing remaining inside. I said to the Nurse there and then, 'well it may look fine but I'm getting these awful pains on my left-hand side of my stomach a couple of inches away from my belly-button', she told me its not here job to check for anything else and that I should make an appointment with my GP.
I was working in Barcelona and I'm self employed and I could not afford to have any more time off work due to signing up to a commited piece of work for them. So I thought I'd ride the storm and see how I get on. The pains have not gone away, they have got worse. Although they are intermittent, they seem to stay for a couple of days, then go away, then come back. Anyway, I finished my contract in Barca at the end of June and made an appointment with my GP, he sent me for an ultrasound. I got the results back and they said everything was fine, could not find any problems there, although on a different tangent, what did show up was that I had a fatty liver.
Still suffering these pains (take lots of co-codomol and paracetemol at times), I go back to the doctor. (OH I forgot to mention, my stomach is very distended, I look like I am 6months pregnant). He said theirs not a problem and prescribes me drugs for IBS and somthing gastro related to see if that helps with my stomach. Still in no joy, I go back for another appointment to my GP and insist on a referral to a specialist to which he reluctantly agrees eventually. Also he sends me for some blood tests. I am still awaiting the results (I went on Monday for them) and I have got an appointment through to see the gastrolentrolgist! on Oct 2nd. I am still in pain and wondering what the hell to do.
A huge part of me feels like this is miscarriage related because I never had any pains at all before this? Perhaps someone can help, maybe they have been in this situation before?
Thanks for your time. x
Hi and welcome! That's a hard one to answer - I personally haven't experienced that sort of pain after a MC, but certainly did when my gall bladder started to play up!
I'll PM you...
BTW a link for the abbreviations can be found here:

*quickly pops back*
I did read the superdrug one was quite good... it was stupidity that made me use it earlier:o
It does look like I've been really silly testing so early but that was because I had no idea when I actually OV'd. But AF due date for original OV has been and gone so yes it looks like I got my FLP at around 7dpo.
If I get a chance to get a FR I will but with SIL here the next few days it's going to be difficult:rolleyes:
Thank you for the advice and hope you are doing okBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Smartie - I second Nikabella's advice - FMU only and FR are the only ones I now keep in the cupboard, just in case!0
