My cycles are getting longer and longer. Admittedly it's not a ridiculously long one but it gets longer every month. Prior to going on the pill I could go a whole 3 months or more without having AF visit. I'm terrified thats slowly starting to happen again.

I'm due to test tomorrow but I have fmu in a pot. At this point I don't care if I'm only going to get a bfn as long as AF turns up. I don't want silly long cycles again. I feel really insensitive saying this after your news Scotsgirl, but I just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience?

    Hi Ladies

Gutted to say, I think I am going to rejoining you fairly soon :( Woke up last night with spotting which has turned into full blown AF type bleeding with cramps all day. Too early for docs to be able to do or even see anything so all I can do is let it be. Spent most of the day crying though.

Good luck to everyone for this month

:( So sorry SG. Thinking of you and big hugs coming your waysmiley-hug005.gif

  • Hi ladies, hope you're all ok this morning, especially you Scotsgirl :grouphug:

It appears to have stopped raining here  Maybe this is the "summer" we're supposed to have in August :rotfl:
Not much going on in casa Bitzer at the moment, aside from the home-improvements. Only on CD7, though I did notice my cervix has risen and softened slightly already and that I'm having funny cramping pains. Maybe my system's finally succumbed under the weight of the supplements! :o

Keep us posted Scotsgirl, I hope it was just a random bleed and not true AF. We're all thinking of you and we're here if you want to rant/rave, same goes for all of you.

I was saying to OH last night how I don't know any of you in real life but that I'm as pleased for you/sad for you when you get a BFP/AF as I would be any of my friends. This thread and the ladies on it are so supportive, I would have cracked up long ago I'm sure of not for my ability to rant/chat on here.

MMC says I'm on CD 31. I'm still having tummy pains like AF is on her way but this has been 3 days now which is unusual. I'm going to buy lots of pain killers while I'm out MSing because I think AF is going to hit in a BIG bad way later.

Still not tested whats in my pot. If AF doesn't hit by the time I get home I'll test then but I truly am expecting a BFN.

Only take paracetamol though - just in case you're wrong twinklie ;) xx

P.S. Don't know how you can have pee sitting around in your house for so long! Unless you don't have a super-nosy dog who would have knocked it all over the floor by now....

unfortunately it looks very much like it is a miscarriage - haven't stopped bleeding at all, and it's pretty heavy too. I had a feeling something was wrong though - I was losing weight (intentionally) before I found out I was PG, and actually hit my healthy BMI for the first time in ages the same day I found out! Although I stopped actually dieting my weight shot up (3lb in 3 days) which it always does right before AF, so I think something must have gone wrong on Monday and it's taken my body this long to start.

Thank you so much for all your support girls -I don't know what I'd do without you all. I'm beginning to think that the miscarriage statistics that are published are a pile of utter mince though. I'm young (23) so my risk was, according to NHS, only 9%. Obviously not told many people, but had to tell my (male) boss, and OH's boss, to explain why we were off. Both of them have been thru it, in my managers case, his wife has had several. And when I see how many women on here have experienced it too, it just makes me realise that it's something that is so common, and yet so hidden.

Scotsgirl I'm so sorry to hear your news. I think you're right about the stats being 'hidden' My sister had MC earlier in the year and we were all gutted but it's not until you start to talk to other people that they all start saying what happened to them and it's so common I think those that have never experienced it are almost in the minority.
Please take some time out to care for yourself and talk to someone who will just listen.
    Lots of hugs xxxx
