Hi mennie, welcome back to TTC
Sounds like you've got all your bases covered. I take a multivitamin, but thats only because there isn't enough iron in my dietSealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Damn hormones, i feel like i've offended you now
I'll post a new thread with the pics on so who ever out of you wants to see can have a look, and whoever doesn't want to see doesn't have to.
Deal?
And dont worry i'll do the arrows thing, i'll need them for me to! lol. Though when i had a scan after my MMC to check the baby had no heartbeat they gave me a pic, and it looks like a head with a tail. Quite scary actually :rotfl:
The reason im sticking around here a bit is cause im scared of leaving you allI just dont feel 'right' on the pregnancy thread yet, even though i post on there. I feel more at home here
Your all to lovely to leave heheand i hope i dont come across as smug? Do i?

Hi all, I can't believe how fast you lot fill up the pages!
I'm going to be paying a lot closer attention to my cycles having read all this, I'm pretty sure I can tell approx. when I ov as I get a bit ill and moody and have a dicky tummy in the middle of my cycle, but I never knew it gave you ewcm - will keep an eye out!
Me and DH are 26, but have been together since we were 15 and finally got married last December, so now we are trying I'm really impatient. Almost feel guilty posting here though in case it happens really and I bring anyone down. It must be so hard going through the waiting and stress each month never mind everything else.Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
kmckee they do 2 tests on the sperm 2 weeks apart so that they can get a sort of average of what its like my Oh gets his results next week and hes terrified!
He doesnt really have a big problem with drinking anymore he used to drink about 5l of cider a day but since hes met me he stopped completly but has his wee slip up sometimes and with the counciller bringin up things that really hurt for him he slipped but he seems alot better this evening and said once he came out of his mood this afternoon he realised he didnt really care about having a drink today. It is always there apparently he thinks about it every day and can usually say no
EA we dont really want you to leave either even though we get jealous when you talk about it we can still be happy for it lol0 -
Well, sitting here at home watching the swallows gathering on the telephone wire outside, the flooding rain is probably making them think of heading south early this year!
Gill, we here are both 38 are still waiting for 1st sticky bean. I was on the pill for 15 years and came off about 8 years ago. A few early MCs and plenty of illness have delayed us and delayed us from getting there, but we keep trying and try to stay optimistic! We met as teenagers and I have finally agreed to marry him this year as I just couldn't keep saying no! I post on the 12+ board also and like to just keep up with both when I can.
So that definitely makes me the old woman on the thread! But where there's life, there's hope...
If you are the old woman of the thread, what does that make me?
If I get a BFP for definate this month I will be 44 when it is born & nearly 49 when it starts school.0 -
Hi Maddie and Mennie, think you've caught us on a funny old day, but we're usually a friendly and laid back bunch, honest!
Mennie, it sounds like you've already been through the mill a few times, so the only thing I would add is to make sure you're BDing enough around the OV time - and enjoy trying! Big welcome to you, x
And also welcome to you Maddie, I would be very happy for you to come on here and then jump straight off to the PG board - some people are just lucky like that, but don't feel guilty about it! Good luck to you too and you'll soon be joining us with the stress of the 2WW, x
Nunnygirl, what are you doing back - OH sounds well trained? Go get more BDing in while you can - make up for the fact that I'm not, at least (and that goes for all of you) :rotfl:
EA, it takes more than that to offend me hun! I will be looking forward to seeing your pics, will shed a tear with you and will find them wherever they are posted. I'm so excited for you! How silly is that, x
Kmckee, don't worry overly about the sperm issue - wait and see what they say, but remember it only takes one to have success and we do try all we can to help it along, don't we!
Smartie, too much of a good thing my mum always said makes you go blind :rolleyes::D0 -
Oh phew Natalie, I was beginning to think I was about ten years ahead of everybody! Thank goodness you're here too - we need an old timers club I reckon! Leave these spring chickens that need their mouths washing out on their own :rotfl:
Emmzy, I'm so pleased to hear you've got an AA appointment, you'll find some way of expressing your feelings I'm sure - and it will do your OH good to hear you in that setting. Somehow when I talk in front of a stranger my OH's ears seem to hear far more than when he is sitting next to me at home!0 -
Anyone remember Aqua? Im listening to them hehe
