Aw Annie, don't worry about it - honestly! You can be as open and upfront on here as you like, we do understand and we will all have differing opinions, that's what makes MSF so interesting and fun to be a part of.

I personally know from too many experiences how often a BFP can turn into an unhappy event, so I'm only too happy to support ladies who've already been through the mill TTC wise and don't yet dare to fully step up to the PG thread - and to also do the same for newbies who just find it all a bit daunting.

Oh no, I'm turning into an old mother hen. Grrrr.

It's like keeping hold of an old piece of furniture, I think I'm the sofa - past its best, but still useful at times!

You are definitely not like a sofa! And tbh I don't know what half of us are gonna do once you get your bfp, think we'll have to follow you for your pearls of wisdom;):D

    Group Hug anyone?

Good afternoon lovely peoples Im cheery again. Amazing what a cream cake and a new pair of shoes can do :D

I managed to get OH an appointment with the AA lady tomorrow morning and hes not had a drink today so Im very pleased with him she wants me to go to the appointment too and talk about how it affects me when he drinks and stuff :s I dont really know what to say about that but Im sure Ill think of something I love talking about anything and everything lol

I also managed to put my best friend to shame ...The guy she has fancied for ages was talking to us outside the shops about what we wanted like if we won the lottery and stuff and he said "you want me dont u" and she was mortified so I jumped in with "yes she wants you but do u want her" and he was like yeah of course. So now there going out next Friday but she still wont forgive me for saying it lol she went beetroot :D Aww I feel like cupid or something :D

EA I wanna see your scan pics too ... but you got to put wee arrows on it showing whats what incase i think your babys cute but im looking at the wrong end I can never make those things out lol

bonk.gif made me laugh so much!!
  • I know what you're saying annie.
I'm genuinely really happy-if slightly jealous-for people on here who get their BFPs, especially if they've been through some of the trials and tribulations some of these ladies have.
I would like to see EA's scan pics as I know she's had to experience loss and heartache to get there.
I do however find it simulatneously heartbreaking and exciting to see scans, especially my best mate who's doing a study at the hospital and is getting the 4d scans every few weeks. Looking at her pics is like picking a big scab, you enjoy it for a moment then immediately regret it and wish you hadn't...

Madmac, think I prefer to think of you as a hen rather than a sofa :p
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.

Hi everyone, been lurking for the past few days and thought I would join in.

I am 29 and have been married for a couple of years. We started TTC straight after we were married and after 8 months we fell pg, but at my 12 week scan we found out we had, had a mmc, then we fell pg literally straight away after that and had an early scan which showed another mmc.

We tried again for another 8 months and nothing happened, then I had an abnormal smear and had to have treatment so we took a 6 month break.

Now we are ready to go again, but we have decided that this will be out last try as we dont want to keep putting ourselves through the wringer. So........................... Do you ladies have any advice on vits and diets and things I should be doing and not doing? I have dh on zinc and selenium. I take berroca, evening primrose and folic. We dont smoke, rarely drink. I have a very healthy diet and I exercise. Anything else we can do to improve our chances?
