    Morning,

I've been up since about 6.30, really tired today, we've got our last hypnobirthing class today, i know we're not having a natural birth any more but i decided to still go the classes because it's nice to have a little time to relax and also there's some nice people at the class, maybe at least one that i'll keep in touch with so for that alone it's worth it.

well and i get free official hypnobirthing scripts which definitely can't hurt! Means i can help other people if they need it as Hypnobirthing was something i always wanted to do additional training in!

Oh I meant to say, we popped to the shops yesterday because my mum wanted to buy me more baby bits and debenhams have a huge sale on at the moment, we've got the little man some gorgeous baby rocha outfits for half price....they're seriously cute!

    Morning all :D

    HUGE Congrats to catz

Tia - Best of luck to you as well I hope everything goes to plan and by the time I get back you will have some news also :D

Sorry I didn't get to log back on yesterday but things were manic. They wouldn't bring the induction forward so I'm still booked for this evening, basically the plan is I go in this evening start getting things moving and they plan to brake my waters around 6am tomorrow. I'm getting really nervous about not only the labour but becoming a mum, we've waited so long for this baby (8 years!) and I can't believe it's finally going to happen and all of a sudden it all feels very real and it seems the pregnancy has flown by.

FIL is doing ok, my sister is going to go with him tomorrow and keep DH informed, we've spoken to my hospital and they've said they'll be more than happy to take messages as well for us to keep us up to date with what's going on in the other hospital. Still can't believe it's going to be a while before he gets to meet his grandchild though.

Anyway, enough waffle from me, don't think I'll be back later, so ladies, see you on the other side :T

I'm sorry it didn't happen yesterday Tink, but I wish you and your FIL luck for today and tomorrow. Thanks for updating us - I was thinking of you yesterday and will keep doing that till there's news.

Tink - sorry they didn't let you have the induction a couple days early. I'm surprised they didn't, actually, but at least you've gotten things sorted for your FIL as well. Best of luck - hope everything goes smoothly for you all!

Off to check the list with all the queue jumping I'm actually moving down not up:rotfl: ETA - Not counting tink, I'm 8th on the list, but Triggles and Tia are going to go ahead of me...so 10th!

NMS, I've been nesting for weeks! We're doing more of it today, it's still just organising and clearing/throwing things away/finding them homes/making the place look pretty. When it's all organised I am hiring a cleaner for a few hours and s/he'll do the nasty jobs. I suspect we'll both be too tired :rotfl:

Sorry they wouldn't induce you early Tink and that you didn't go naturally after your sweep. I'm glad you've been able to sort things out for FIL though so that DH isn't being torn in two on Monday. Hope all goes well with the birth, and that you're holding your new arrival shortly. It took me 6 years to conceive my first, with some heavy duty assistance, and one loss involved too, and the feeling when he was finally put in my arms after waiting all those years was just indescribable! I don't think anything in my life will ever compare with it. Enjoy that moment.

All the best tink i hope everything goes as smoothly as possible. Dont forget to pack a nice big pack of tissues you will blub like a small child once the bab is in your arms :-) xxx
:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j
  • Good luck Tink. Hope it all goes well for you and cannot wait to hear your birth story.

Tia- sorry it's all stopped for you again.

Just had Nigella's pancakes for brunch and they were amazing. Hubby is still in bed as he was at work all night. I'm planning on doing some mega batch cooking in a min. Going to do veggie lasagne and moussaka.

BTW has anyone seen that Swine flu tips for Mothers to be has made it onto the front page of the BBC website? Not really anything new in there though- except to avoid crowded places which is easier said than done when you work with the public!
