Hopefully you will be okay, this is my 4th pg and I have developed symptoms of pre eclampsia every time  but this is the first time I have ended up on the tablets, try and rest as much as you can!

    Oh, you poor thing!

Just trying to muster the energy to make my tea- cauliflower cheese and jacket potato- delicious! I find it so much easier to think of things to cook when OH is out. He's a right fussy so and so, but so am I so there's not much we both eat.

If you can afford it I would say go for it! If I was you, I would leave it for as long as you can before going though. We had a quick peek at 17 weeks for sexing which was great but the scan's we had at 26 weeks and especially 28 weeks were so detailed it was amazing! the pic in my avvie is from the 28 week scan.

if you want I can post a pic from 17 weeks, 26 weeks and 28 weeks so you can see what a difference it makes :D

Thanks MBM. Well i'm 21 weeks now & the place i've been looking at is booking around early October so i'd be around 29-31 weeks. Dunno if i can afford it tho!

Evening ladies just doing a quick catch up hope your all well.

My MW appointment went really well she is coing out on monday to do the home visit and tell me all about the HB procedures. I have to clean everything nowim paranoid when people visit :-)

4D scans are brilliant and i would recomend anyone who can afford it to go for it. The detail was amazing and i now have a wonderfull dvd of bubs wriggling around in my tummy which im sure will bring smiles and maybe a few tears in years to come :-) xx

  • Phew finally caught up, and I only had to read since about noon today!!

Thanks 32B about how to display avatars, I have just done this so I will in a mo try and sort my own out :)

Feel free to flick past this bit, but I am back on the subject of M&P moses basket mattresses!! The £7 one off ebay arrived this morning and I have put it in with a fitted sheet on and also the bumper round and IMO it fits fine and there is deffo not a 4cm gap around it so I am pleased this is one more thing sorted. Plus very mse :money:!! P.S. I promise I will now stop waffling about the subject, hehe!!

Now off to make a cuppa so we can have some digestives :o Looking forward to tomorrow as I'll be 27 weeks pg and I like reading the weekly email :j

  • Thanks for that fattybooboo! I think I might crack on and order one in that case.

I went back this afternoon and got another one of the half price Huggies boxes in Boots. I now have 10 packs of newborn nappies, but if baby is a lump and we don't get through all those I'll try and swap them for a bigger size.

    Hey boo,

sorry to drag it back to the mattresses but did you get yours from Mattress-Makers? I ordered mine yesterday and am hoping it will arrive tomorrow as I have ante-natal class on Thurs and can almost guarantee that is when postie will arrive.

They left feedback today so I'm guessing they have sent it, just not sure when it will turn up.

27 weeks exactly for me tomorrow as well fattybooboo!!
We are getting there slowly but surely lol!!
    MAJOR VENT WARNING!!!
Just found out at the beginning of the week that our ward is definately closing on the 1st of october. We were all meant to be going to work in a new infectious diseases ward but now despite having spent god knows what refurbing the inf ward they don't have the money to open it and it will be mothballed!!! Don't you just love the nhs???
So we are all being split up and sent to different wards that are short staffed. I will be going to my "new" ward for one week before I start maternity leave, really stressed out over it all. To top it off when I did my return to work after the flu sister was counting in all my absences and included pregnancy related ones (when I was off bc of bleeding etc etc) I tried to tell her they don't count but she says that in my trust they count ALL absences. Can't find any info on the web to prove my point!!!
Thanks for listening to my vents lol feel bit better now its off my chest!!
    Coming soon............
Brand new baby first showing in November!
Brand new baby boy (Matthew) born 3 weeks early weighing a diddly 5lb 4 oz!!

Hi Harley, haha no probs with me, I seem to love talking about mattresses :D No I bought mine from the_best_cosy_toes but if your seller has left you feedback then hopefully they did that as they posted it. Fingers crossed it comes tomorrow.

GISI - Hope you like the mattress too, feeling slightly under pressure now I have raved about it, lol, but for £7 I didnt mind risking it :)

Pookie just seen your post too, how cool that we are at exactly the same stage. Time is creeping on isnt it, deffo going faster than those first 12 weeks did!!
