Fitzio - I hear ya'!! I've bought my tankinis from Bravissimo in the past, as anything that doesn't bra cup sizes is just not feasible. Unfortunately both my boobs AND my tum have outgrown it so not sure what I'll use for aquanatal...might just do like Glam and wear it w/ a vest top or something over. I was thinking possibly getting a sports bra or similar for use in the birthing pool? Swimsuits are too expensive for that purpose & I've seen loads of vids with women in normal bras or just vest tops in the birthing pool.

Yes, I am a Bravissimo girl too. Still not made the change over to non wired bras. I am really really hating being big boobed whilst being pregnant. It's worse than normal! It's all so expensive isn't it?! Especially when you don't know what size you will be afterwards too. Might go for a normal bra and baggy t-shirt in the birthing pool.

Sarah - I don't have any kids yet but I know that friends have used the baby monitor to listen for if baby stops breathing rather than just if they are crying. I think you can get ones that go under the mattress and are super sensitive, but we got the BT100 baby monitor and it seemed good enough when we tried it out. Some friends have said they couldn't wait to get rid of it though as it made them paranoid. I doubt it's essential, it's just up to yourself.

Sarah - whenever you eat anything u look at the nurtitional info so in your case you had plenty of Calcium.

Anything fruit flavoured can be counted as one of your five a day

Ice cream is OBVIOUSLY good for u - it's calcium and if it's strawberry it's even better for you!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh I see! So the glass of lime and lemonade I had with my chips counts, yeah? I think I've got some learning to do here!!

Edit - thanks for opinions re baby monitors, I might see how we get on without as I know I would be paranoid about the breathing.

Anyway, must tidy the house for OHs parents who are coming tomorrow (joy!), I promise to try to post more from now on, it was nowhere near as scary as I thought! Bye for now x

I've got a monitor (mainly cos it was part of a deal and I didn't fancy anything else!) and our room is next to nursery - my worry is I can sleep through just about anything but am sure this will change when baby comes along! Will also use it if I'm downstairs when bubs is sleeping upstairs

    Night Sarah. Do call again!

Grrrrr at Glam for being able to buy bras/bikinis anywhere!

I am trying to ignore the swearing coming from upstairs as my DH attempts to put 3 mirrors on the wall beside each other. We have already rowed today about how stressed he got painting the kitchen. Think it was WM and SS who were saying about DIY tempers. I hadn't noticed it before today, but now I have to join you ladies!

Night Glam. Enjoy aquanatal tomorrow. Wish I had nothing to do in work - they keep heaping more on me.

I'm off too. Night night anyone else who is lurking. x

What?! Next you'll be telling me 3 packs of mini cheddars and a custard slice is not a nutritional meal!

Quick question for those that have already had kids - do I actually need a baby monitor for when LO goes into it's own room? Our room is next to the nursery and our house is open plan so I'm guessing I could hear any cries pretty well. What do you all think? x

Nope. we only have one because livingroom is downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs, and it's only used when baby is upstairs and we are downstairs. And even at that, we usually end up turning it off rather than going up for every noise.

I had a long bath and actually feel a little better, I don't even feel like crying right now! :D
