Can I go off topic please?

Just spoken to my Mum and she is going to buy a static caravan this weekend! I am so excited- it's quite near where they live but right on the beach so means OH and I can go and stay with baby, but not have to stay with my parents (or his). It will be so lovely for family holidays, and my Mum has worked out that by renting it out for peak weeks, it will pay for itself.

We had a similar property to this when I was little, and we all have so many happy memories of it. I think the increasing number of grandchildren has made my Mum want to recreate that now!

Back on topic- Lou- I hope the visit goes okay. It must be so tough having to go through it each time.

Skinty- you're a good friend to go and visit even though it must be really hard for you too.

Off to watch the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special recorded the other night- saw it at Christmas but can't really remember it.

Suzy - I live in wollyback land (as NMS so politely put it!) but am Welsh.

Sorry :o. So what kind of accent do you have?
Hi Jillie  - we're all kinda close by!
    Tara - I prefer Madison too ;)
Tia - you must have needed that nap :D Glad you are home, but please try to rest as much as you can.

I'm home for now. But if this keeps up I think I will be up demanding that they get her out, it's a statement as to how much it hurts when I say I don't care how she comes out anymore.

GISI, ooohh! I love statics! They are such a great home from home.

Jillie, how are you sayinging Niamh? I have heard so many people say it so many ways. And my DH is a Steven :D So I like that one!

So far we have Eve (I think DH still likes it anyway, I do) and Madison (stolen!) but I don't think she will get a name till she is here.

    Evening everyone,

I keep trying to keep up at work, but don't have much time to post during the day. Sooooo.....

Lou66 – Hope your toilet going does pass, but I am now 30 weeks, and it’s getting worse! It’s not just during the night now, it’s everything I stand up too. I have been going so much that my poor bottom is a bit tender!

Xmas/CSH – congrats on finishing up work.

Hypno – sorry you are bored, but that is a good Bejewled score! Not long to go now so hang in there.

Molly – lovely pics of Bronwen. She is gorgeous!

Fitzilian – I volunteered for redundancy a few years ago from a previous job as I was planning on leaving anyway, and like you I was just under the 3 year mark by about a month. I got 2 months wages as it was 1 month for each fully year worked. They had to give 1 month notice too, and they didn’t make us work it, so that was 1 month paid for nothing, so worked out at 3 months wages. I think 1 month per full year is the minimum they can pay you.

Tara – Madison with 1 d is fine shortened to Maddy. You can have Samantha to Sammy so why not?

Tia - Nice to see you got home.

Tink - Labour vibes to you!

    On the subject of names:

WM – we have major problems about names, particularly boys. Lucas was the only one that we both agreed on, but then OH’s sister said that would be her choice for a boy. We hadn’t even mentioned it would be our choice. It’s really put me off choosing it now as I feel it would be “her name”. But then we both like it and can’t agree on anything else! I suggested Noah too, but OH is the same as yours - nothing biblical!

Nanc - We also liked Felix, and I think it's OH's favourinte, but everyone just thinks of a cat! I told him to stop discussing it as once people give an opinion or laugh at it. its difficult to go ahead anyway. He wouldn't bother, but I would. I like Felix, but I don't think I want to call my kid it.

Girls shortlist - Amber, Emma, Holly, Matilda and Olivia.
Boys shortlist - Lucas, Felix, Joe, Ben and Oscar.

It will no doubt change again soon though!

P.S. I have only ever heard Niamh pronounced as Neev. How else would it be pronounced Tia/Jillie?
