P.S. I have only ever heard Niamh pronounced as Neev. How else would it be pronounced Tia/Jillie?

    depends how you spell it.
    Niamh is the irish spelling.
some people spell it NEVE and then some spell it this way and drop the 2nd e and pronounce it 'nev'
i have heard it also pronounced nee-av

what happened to easily spelt and pronounced names like mine. JILL easy peasy
(btw its not jillian or gillian just JILL)

    Hey everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcome back. It's great to get back whilst there's still so many familiar faces :D Hopefully this time I'll be staying.

Fattybooboo of course I remember co-ercing (read 'bullying') you into testing that evening, it was great to get our BFP's together & I'm so glad your pregnancy has gone on to to be healthy - you must have had/ be about to have your 20 week scan by now I presume?

It's so nice to see that catwoman and evansangel are back here as well.

Can I ask if those who have had mc's before got early scans? I had a complete natural miscarriage and so I expect the doctors won't see any point in scanning me early (as it wasn't a MMC), however, I don't know that I can wait another 8 weeks till the 12 week scan.

Loving the beautiful pictures of Bronwen, that is a name that I love as well. Ah all gooey inside.

I just wondered. I know Neve as in Campbell could be pronounced Nev. Never come across a nee-av though.

I was almost called Jill apparently. Jill, Claire or Lynn. Ended up with Lynn which I think is a bit boring (sorry SM!).

    Welcome and congrats robbadak! :T

I know a few Jills and 1 Jillian.

It's pouring of rain here. But the good news is that yesterday was St Swithens Day and it stayed dry. If it rains then, it rains for 40 days and 40 nights apparently!!! ha ha.

I am sitting eating Thorntons choccies with my legs up as I need to try and get my swelling down. It's worse than ever today. I almost didn't go in to work, and my boss said I should have phoned in if I didn't feel like it! Off next week on holiday though so would have felt guilty not going in because I had big fat feet!

Oh no EA. That's a shame. Hope she is ok. Make sure you keep your distance for a few days though.

Found out today that our best man has it. He is due to come and stay in 3 weeks, so glad he has it now rather than then.

Names is such a tough one. I think we are decided now, but I've thought that a few times and it's all changed.

    Boy- Henry Robert
    Girl- Madeleine Grace

I still really like Martha, but OH doesn't. I also love Niamh, but it is my step sister's name, and I love Oscar but it doesn't go with our surname.

EA-. Have you seen her recently?
