I really want some crisps but have stupidly left my purse at home today - I never do that!!

Probably for the best though even if it is annoying!

My BMI was 29 and a bit and I am shorter than you! The consultant told me to watch my weight gain and I then told her it had only been about 8lbs (I weighed myself a few days ago). Maybe she thought I was a lot skinnier before (as if!) - it was then she looked at my booking in BMI.

    hi guys... can i moan?

just had my final meeting with work about my redundancy - not nearly as much as i was expecting... for some reason i thought i'd be getting 3 months in lieu of notice but i'm only getting one... which works out at a lot less!!!

sorry to moan about it... just a bit of a let down after spending a month working on a figure a lot more than this - makes the next few months a bit stressful and doesnt give me any room for error!

dont need this worrying about it..got my childminding test tonight and now REALLY cannot fail - it's another 4 months til people who fail can re-sit and then you cant start work til Ofsted have inspected and CRB'd etc...

    AARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!

  • Fitz - why the 1 instead of 3? Is there any room for negotiation?

Why the disparity? What made you think you were getting more - your contract or your statutory entitlement? Whichever one it was, you are entitled to the greater of the two, as your contract cannot give you less than your statutory rights, and if it gives you more, they have to honour it.

If its a difference in how things have been calculated, are you confident they are right and not you? I seem to recall you've had some advice from lawyer/CAB about your situation. Did they advise what your entitlement would be? If so, probably more likely work is wrong than them.

Definitely worth exploring imho, rather than just assuming the figure work is telling you now is the right one.

Good luck with your test tonight.
