Morning everyone! I hope everyone's feeling fabulous this morning!

Should anyone be interested, storing a fabric product in the freezer and then sleeping beneath it is ticklish at first but infinitely better than baking in the heat. I'd probably still be asleep if it weren't for the builders outside. Husband went out to tell them to please stop yelling in the stairwell since it's only 8am and they just responded that they have to work and cursed him out in Turkish. I think they were surprised when he responded - sometimes it is useful to have a person who speaks multiple languages in the house, although it does annoy me when he talks to the cat about me in Icelandic.

Bellyfrog's normally awake and wriggling shortly after me, it took about half an hour this morning - even now the wriggling's only comparatively small and from very low down - maybe she's dancing and she's just too well locked in to feel it properly. I'm about to do the Mean Mama trick of resting my mug of tea on the bump to watch it dance (but first I have to make the tea). I'm going to miss that about being pregnant.

Suzy, isn't that feeling of calm supposed to mean it's imminent?

Good luck with the scan Maz - I hope you have a cooperative one!

Jenny, is your spider still under the pot?

Morning Sugar - I seriously hope Jenny's spider is still under the pot or you would likely hear the screaming from Germany! Although I think she was going to get her OH to deal with it when he got home!

Off to work now. Not sure if I will be on during the day as got a few meetings and stuff. Really need to get my head down and get things cleared to hand over. I need to train someone to run my team and he is off the last week of my leave so only got 2 weeks to do it at most.

Have a good day everyone. Hope to check back later for some news of births (Triggles/Niknak etc). x

Glam, I've a vague notion that the stuff comes incredibly quickly, I think I remember someone saying they ordered one day and it turned up the next, but I have hardcore pregnant brain so I might be making that up.

You're talking about holland and barratt, right? If not then I'm making no sense at all.

The naked time here has stopped because it felt too weird for both of us. He could feel how far I was dilated and the pressure from the baby's head, and I just felt like I was made of one big buzzing purple bruise.

He'd kill me if he knew I was talking about how weirded out he was by his encounter with my cervix :rotfl:

Edit: And today is my EDD! Where's my BABYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

    Happy Due Date Sugar :j

Yes I do mean Holland and Barret - I ordered Saturday night so hope it comes today. I wanna start my tea (stomps her feet like a little kid)

I sincerely hope Jenny's spid is still under the pot - we 'lost' a bigggggggggg mamma the other night (it went behind the pipework in the bathroom) and I still look for it whenever I go in the bathroom. If I don't know they are there then I'm fine but it's when OH isn't quick enough with the shoe and they escape that it worries me. I think they might come back for revenge when I'm asleep!

Sugar - My OH would also be mortified if he knew I talked about stuff on here! We both agreed it felt strange - wasn't sure if it was just cos baby was a bit further down than he was the last time.

Labour vibes to all those that need them

  • Sugar - he could feel how far you were dilated?!?!? Wow!!!

Morning all - seems like I missed a lot last night! Was Midsommer Murders, which is a must see for me :o then bed! Am feeling really tired these last few days but have to come into work as I have 2 new members of staff starting. Could easily spend the day in bed.

Cub was the most active ever yesterday. Don't think she stopped squirming from about 5 til I went to bed - what is that all about? Is that normal?! A lot of it was visible from the outside too like a belly alien.

We've a giant one lurking in the bathroom Glam - one of those horrors with a tiny body and legs the length of your hand. I don't mind the ones that are at least proportional - it's those leggy things that get to me, and since I'm roughly spherical I can't get out of their way fast enough.

I never kill spiders though - I figure that they want flies dead too so they get to live, as long as they leave me alone.

Oh, I just found a video of the Killers doing a cover of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. It's brightening my morning so I thought I'd share:

Edit: ML, he did, and it was so weird for him. I can kind of see his point :rotfl:
