    Nothing from NMS?

Sorry you've been feeling so carp Glam.

Time to go home in 5 mins. Then off out again to Judo with DS.
Had argument with OH yesterday, over trivial loss of Sky remote for the bedroom. Apparently i'd moved it and lost it. Yes because i was the one who was at work all day, and not the one lied in bed until 2pm in the afternoon, with the TV on. So of course the first thing i did when got home was go get the remote control and purposely lost it.

Bounced out the room after screaming at him and down to spare room. Therefore missing "The Street". Read my book instead. Prat!!

If he's starting with the moods again, he can keep them, i'm straight in the car and off to my mums for some pampering. And he can deal with everything at home instead of me.

DS loved the first day of his football camp, but was put to bed at 7pm because he was acting very strange due to tiredness. I had to wake him at 8 this morning, so obviously needed the sleep. So wish i could do over 12 hours straight. No chance, my bladder would explode. :rotfl::rotfl:

For anyone wanting to know about childcare vouchers my work says this: The first £55 of Childcare vouchers are tax and National Insurance exempt. This means that if you earn less than £33,300 per annum you will save about 33%. If you earn above that level you will save around 41% when compared to other payment methods.

If you are a member of an Occupational Pension Scheme the vouchers will be treated as a pensionable benefit and therefore the savings will be reduced slightly.

A pension scheme member earning less than £33,300, paying contributions at 6%, will save £916 per annum and a pension scheme member earning above £33,300 will save £1,195. The savings would be £961 for a non-pension scheme member earning below £33,300 and £1,195 if they earned over £33,300.

If anyone wants to see some worked examples as well let me know.

Yes. I was doing well til i split with my OH, and i've had a few since. :o:( Feeling guilty for it but i know i've done well so far. Don't worry, if you're down to 1 a day you're doing brilliantly. Midwife should refer you for smoking cessation (if you want) but we can only really have the inhalators, so it's up to you if you'd rather combat it alone or have one of those to help with cravings and hand to mouth habit.

i have the inhilators beeniecat but i didnt really think they done much for me ( i always wanted a cigarette after inhaling on it a couple of times). Midwife did mention a smoking group will give that a try to see how it goes.

    Evening ladies and bumps,

 Well I knew it was going to happen and now it has, my usual pg related high BP, Gah! I'm so fed up, I suppose at least I have got to 35 weeks first but grrrrr, spending every other day stuck at the DAU being threatened with admittance is not much fun... especially when you find yourself stuck there all through lunch and dinner and no one offers you so much as a biscuit!

Can anyone else with High BP let me know what sort of numbers they are letting you get up to before they start really panicking? Mine is going to 150/110 but coming down after a bit of a rest. I just checked it again with my wrist monitor and its 145/97, I suppose I should phone them but I think I will give it 30 mins or so to see if it is on the way up or down.

Hope everyone is a bit happier than me, I am so fed up, not just about my BP but my feet/ankles/legs wouldnt look out of place on an elephant, my hips are killing me and my MS is back with a vengenance  Sorry to come here moaning.

Good luck and lots of easy labour vibes to ladies ready to evict!

No meds yet but it does come down to 140/85 or so after a rest. I'm so dreading being put on meds or taken in for rest  I'm having enough trouble sleeping in my own bed, god knows what state I will be in surrounded by snoring ladies and being prodded by midwives all night

grrr, just used my wrist monitor again 148/103  my pulse is 104 aswell so that is another naughty number

Natalie - you're much braver than I am - perineal massage?!? no way!! everything is waaaaay too sore in that region to try that for me!!

I'm scheduled for induction for tomorrow - and I'm really looking forward to it. Meet the baby finally, get the labour/delivery over with, and then can start the road to feeling like myself again!

Hey Triggles. Good luck! I'm your new due date buddy! My little chap was due on 20th, But has not made an appearance yet (although i am getting mild contractions today) I've been asked to go to the labour ward tomorrow morning for induction :j (My dad's over the moon! It's his 50th birthday tomorrow aswell :D)

I hope you have a short and pain free labour ;)
