Never heard of Etsy before yesterday when Aless mentioned it! Not had a proper look yet though, but the bags look quite nice. I ordered an M&P changing bag from the Next sale though (don't have an M&P pram but who cares if it matches?!).

Have been shopping Asda, Boots and Matalan.

Bought some basic white towels in Asda for baby.
Maternity pads, wipes and more nappies in Boots
And large green stripey cushion to go on Rocking Chair and two storage boxes in Matalan

    These but in cream:
    http://www.matalan.co.uk/pws/ProductDetails.ice?ProductID=4945&redirect=true

Are now full of muslins, and baby toiletries. Towels when washed will go in the other.
I'm starting off so organised, but within a week of this baby being born, it will have all gone to pot and be a complete mess.

We got these slings from Etsy - one in my size and one in Husband's. My gorgeous blue paisley fabric's gone, but you can see his cowprint and they're adorable.

The interview went really well but overran slightly, and so I was a bit late arriving at the Sunday lunch party. Only to find that, although we'd confirmed and ordered in advance, the kitchen had under-ordered supplies and they were sold out of what we'd ordered! So we said sad goodbyes and went off for a curry. That, a long walk (just over an hour), 1000mg of (by mouth!) EPO, some RLT and sex on two separate occasions, have been the order of the day. I'm off back to bed with Husband and when he's finished doing his husbandly duties I'm going to get him to rub the pressure points on my ankles and see if that works.

Good luck NMS! I hope it progresses for you.

Glam - I didn't find arnica very helpful for sore post birth bits, but witch hazel is the dogs doodas! You just pour a little on your maternity pad, and it so cool and soothing and stitches heal really fast. Also (far tmi) if you get piles from pushing, you can soak a piece of cotton wool in it, and put it between your cheeks and they are also soothed and shrink down fast!

Suzy - enjoy the new car. We bought a Q7 a few months ago in preparation for the new baby and it is the nicest car I've ever driven. I love it! We had an A4 before but even though it is much much bigger the Q7 is far easier to drive. It gets a bit thirsty though!

Tinks - what a beautiful baby girl! Congratulations again.

Nicki - I got the arnica tabs in the end cos I didn't fancy trying to put cream on! I took them around the time of my 2nd breast op and the bruising went down really quick and I recovered a lot quicker. I'm willing to give anything a try me so will put the witch hazel on the list!!
(although am secretly praying I don't need any stitches!)

The Q7 is nice - I've seen a lot of footballers with them!

Right gonna do 1 hours overtime now.

Thanks Nicki, Can't wait to get it so we can all spread out in it. We have a very thirsty car at the moment anyway, a BMW M3 so I'm prepared for the diesel costs. We think we'll get alot more mpg so should save money too ...well a little anyway. Im dead excited.

Popped on to see if any news from NMS.

Feeling sympathy for Sugars OH, he must be shattered, poor man !!! Twice today already !!! lol

OH said to me last night that "his" was hurting and we needed to stop "doing it" for a few days as he'd ripped it, told him that he wont be getting it for a while after and if he thinks we're stopping now he's got another thing coming. He can soldier on pain and all!! The end is in sight and we ain't stopping now
