nms might it be an idea not to bother with pj bottoms and just use a nightie (whilst you are at home) to let you rest and save you having to change all the time?

i was wondering if any of you experts out there can help me,i got a bit of a rash on my right boob,,kinda red and raised like a small clump of bumps together,,i do occasionally get eczema but i dont think it is that,,

    Hi Lil Miss

I had the same lumps on left boob, back of hand, tummy and neck. Very annoying and horribly itchy but they went eventually. Doc prescribed me some Eurax cream but the leaflet said not for use in pregnancy so I only used it very little when I really couldn't bear it any longer. Found putting the wine chiller on hand quite helpful, also tucked it against boob for a little while but was not v comfy. I assumed it was some sort of heat rash or prickly heat, though it only really appeared as the temp was starting to cool down again. HTH.

NMS - Good luck, hope it all goes well and we are soon seeing gorgeous piccys to get jealous over again.

Glam, well done on yet another bargain.

Can anyone help with sleeping bag/grobags? I went to Matalan this morning for a nose as someone said they were having a sale. But all the sleeping bags were for 3-6 months and over 10lbs. Is it not recommended to put a younger baby in a grobag or were they just out of stock? I have to buy something soon, and now I'm not sure what to get.

Still no sign of the Mothercare vouchers. Mum and dad came yesterday to do a whole list of jobs, one of which was to help me spend the vouchers. We had fun window shopping for them, but it wasn't quite the same. Mum treated bubs to a lovely pram suit/all in one padded thing from M&S. Really gorgeous. Dad even cut the grass for me, then took all of us out for dinner, brother and SIL came up too. A lovely day all round really.

Had another sleepy day today, how I am going to carry on working for the next 8 weeks is completely beyond me. Have one major task to complete, if I can, then I will go off. Hopefully a couple of weeks earlier than planned.

Harley - you can definitely get Grobags/sleeping bags for 0-3 months as I ordered 2 (in the Next sale again!). Maybe they were just out of stock.

My mum bought me a gorgeous pram suit from M&S so probably similar. It's the only thing she has bought for the baby (although they did give us £200 towards pram), and it was months ago, so probably last season's but it's really nice and cosy!

Glad you had a nice day out yesterday.

Think I might have had a few Braxton Hicks today, but not sure.

    Thanks JHA and Fitzio

Great info on the mothercare site. Will keep an eye out for 0-3 month ones fitz but thinking about swaddling too so according to JHA's link I could probably hold fire on the sleeping bags for a bit.

For anyone who is interested, the Matalan ones were down from £8 to £4. The only thing was the label said it was less than 2.5 tog, not what the tog actually was. But a very good deal, and pretty cute too, though obviously I was only looking at the pink ones. Got some gorgeous neutral ones for £10 (I think) and they felt a bit thicker, poss the winter ones. She'll be in a moses basket for a while so maybe the swaddling will work well with that for the time being.

Mum and Dad also gave me the money for the pushchair yesterday. We all thought we were far too clever to read the instructions and took ages to figure out how to fold it all down so that it would go into the car boot. Honestly, I'm an Engineer and it really shouldn't be beyond me but it was. Felt really stupid when we finally figured it out. Caused lots of giggling and micky taking though, not sure how long it will take to live it down.

Also been sucked into the etsy site. I had a freebie sheep changing bag from Vertbaudet and have the boots one too, but neither of them are very 'me'. The sheep one is pale green and quite cute, but very small, and doesn't go with the red pushchair at all. Trouble is, the etsy one i have my eye on is pink and brown, so that doesn't match either. Love it though. Stop showing me nice stuff, I have all the breaking strain of a kit kat!!!

jha, try Etsy - I know we've been talking about it a bunch, but the slings we bought were about $15 each. Is that one a ring sling or just the wrap?

jha - I've always thought these were fascinating, but I'd be too afraid of dropping the baby out of the bottom in front to actually use one! LOL

My husband is still not back, he better have DVD's or I won't be happy. And also what should I bully him into getting me from the chinease? Usually have chilli salt crispy chicken with chips (rice is mleh).
