One of our friends has just sent me a message telling me that my baby (9+2) is the size of a jelly baby - my OH was so intrigued that he has been out to buy a box of jelly babies and is sitting here measuring them...did you know the different favours are different sizes!! we are apparently 2mm shorter than a red one and 5mm shorter than a yellow one - and they're sooooooo small!!!
It feels wrong to want to eat them now...............:eek:

Nicki - it just all depends on who you speak to, really. When I lived in the states, it was common knowledge pregnancy = 40 wks = a full 9 months (meaning inclusive of 9th month, taking you to a total of 10), even though people still speak of it as 9 months. Same thing here in the UK that I've seen, really. Many people equate it with 10 months due to the 40wks, and many still go by the whole traditional view of 9 months. It's all in view of looking at 4wks = 1 month, 40 wks = 10 months. Generally, the count puts someone at 4wks when they are 2wks past conception/ovulation, so baby is actually 2 wks, but the pregnancy is considered 4wks. Not a big deal either way, really.

Glam, if you're around, am I right in thinking that if my neice has cough, aches and high temperature that the whole of my sisters side of the family should stay away and how long before I should let them visit. I know you can't give advice but maybe a link, thanks. X
