Chris thinks I have it !! (I dont BTW, just have a really bad cold)
She certainly has symptons, just bl00dy angry that my sister left her on her own, it's not like she popped out to do the school run is it. She was gone for 8 hours! :mad:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
Tara, I'm not Glam but I think I remember someone the other day saying the incubation period is 7-10 days, so if it's been 10 days since exposure and the person has no symptoms they're good to go.
I'd err on the side of caution for your sake as well as Madison's. (Lovely name BTW.)
I'm in such a good mood. I've been talking to my Very Best Friend for an hour on Skype. I miss her.
Thanks Triggles - I wasn't explaining it terribly well, but it's 9 full months, which is technically 10. Like with birthdays, you're in your 30th year but are actually 29, because the 29 refers to the number of completed years and not the one you're actually in.
I'm sure I've heard people in the UK refer to 9 1/2 months before, but never anyone say "10 months pregnant" even here, it would be "at my due date", or "a week before EDD" or "three days overdue".Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi everyone,
Been trying to keep up the past few days, but only managed to skim read.
Tara - Congrats on your baby girl. Maddison is a lovely name. x
Elle - Congrats on getting Rhys home. It seemed like a long way off at one point so it's excellent news he has come so far.
Tia - Hope everything is going ok. You are having some time of it!
Kym - I am in Scotland too. Don't think we can take on these Manchester folk though. "The English are too many!"
Helen - Think I posted the link the other day, but there are some sale bags at Pink Lining just now:

Welcome and congrats to all the newbies. Too many to remember as I haven't been taking notes.
It was my birthday today/yesterday, and we went to the pictures to see Harry Potter. Sugar and anyone else further on than me - I think you are mental!! It will definitely be my last visit to the cinema whilst pregnant. I was sooooo unbelievably uncomfortable. My legs and feet are more swollen than ever and I can't get any shoes on. My back was aching. I had restless legs but couldn't even flex my feet due to the swelling. It was awful!
It was right up there with my 30th birthday when I went to London, had my bag nicked and spent the day in a police station and missed my flight home!!
Hello to everyone else. Labour vibes to those who want/need them.

Welcome to all the newbies! Congrats to those who have had their babies and labour vibes to those in need of them!If google doesn't know it, how should i?0 -
Morning !
Tia - Theres nothing worse than being stuck in hospital - life goes soooo slow, Hope your out soon
Fitzio - Im shocked by how many are from Manchester even tho it is a big place. Happy birthday for yesterday!!
I was the same at the cinema at about 30 wks as my legs were still restless. I've got over that now with the restless legs. I went last month to watch transformers and was alot better although we were at the Imax which is roomy. I always get an end seat too so i can stretch a little more.
Glam - Are u from THE glass company place ? I was thinkin about u in bed when i inserted my EPO - which felt quite nice btw
Niknaknoo - Not long for you now hey - I half want to move up and half don't !
KK - I'll NEVER look at a jelly baby in the same way again lol
As for the swine flu thing - definately think we have had it here at home ,although I have had it mild and been on here the last few days alot but that is all that ive done, totally wiped out , headaches, temp, back pain, ,throat , nose etc , _pale_ i feel that me and oh and DS have lost a few days. OH has had it far worse than me and been shivering too.
Hair appointment today - yeah! Cant wait my roots need it and i want to be a glamourpuss again now that i feel more human
Have a nice day ladies
