Morning ladies.
Had a quick catch up but short of time, so might have missed stuff. Labour vibes to SS, Nik and Triggles.
Off to wedding shortly. Already been to hairdressers. Spent £35 on a cut and blow dry, and it wasn't what I wanted!!! Had to come home and brush all the hairspray out of it and straighten it myself. At least it has a bit of volume for a change, but what a waste of money!
Off to do make up and get changed now, then picking up flowers. Hope it's a nice day - I don't know many people, and since I can't drink and probably won't fancy ceilidh dancing, it could be a long day!!
Enjoy your Saturdays. xx0 -
Aless, it's the jewellery that is my downfall!
Is it bad that I have no idea how much it is to get from here to town on the bus and only have £1.50? But I seem to remember that when I was working (2005) it was £1.45 single so I have a feeling it has went up a lot since then. And DH, who is a bus driver, is not answering his phone so I can find out if I have enough to get into town (there is £20 hidden behind a picture but I don't want to use a £20 note, bus drivers are scary!)
Unusual discovery. I had a pair of tummy controll pants that were huge for me, but they fit great now and have helped with the ligament pain and the feeling that the bump is going to pull me on my face!
Off to hunt for more cash and phone DH again. I may or may not tidy up before I go, who cares if I do or don't? lol!
Make that I have £1.36.
I found a stash of 5p, I have about £1.80 now
I'm off for my big bus adventure now! Course I have to find out where I get the bus home from...0 -
tia - you can normally find out costs for bus on website.
Also, they normally want the right money as well.
Can't remember the last time I travelled on public transport thoughA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I know! DH has been working there for two and a half years, in that time I have used a bus... twice. Once I left my car at his mums and jumped on the bus he was driving (last run of his shift then we had an appointment in town, made more sence for me to get the bus as he had his car at work) and the second was with him and the boys, so again I didn't pay. He gets free travel and so does one other person, we gave it to his mum as she always uses buses (and we can then bribe her into stuff by estimating how much she has saved with free bus travel *evil grin*).
Looked on the website but it doesn't say. Lets just hope I have enough eh? :rotfl: I hear DH moaning often enough about folk and £20 notes :cool:0 -

Found out he went to ex wifes last night crying to her and told her all details of how we've had arguments over her before. I think it's totally out of order but he was acting like she had a right to know - !!!!!!???:mad::mad:

We've been doing all sorts of stuff today - cleaned our room, DS's room, bathrooms, picked up some items at B&Q that were needed, did a grocery shop to last until next weekend, put together our carrycot as well as the moses basket and angelcare monitor. But as Glam just mentioned her car needing cleaning, I remembered we need to clean out our car as well - it's a right mess inside!
Resting for a bit, then DH & I will continue cleaning. Feels so great to get all this stuff FINALLY done!!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

Beanie big hugs to you he is a complete @!%**&^$£@0 -
wow Triggles - anyone would think you were having a baby in the next 5 days :rotfl:
I'm just going to do some washing, clean the bathroom and then blitz our bedroom so that all we need to do is put mattress from single bed currently in nursery under our bed and move the TV that we don't even watch but that takes up loadsa room!!!
Well, I upped my Insulin today and my sugars are just as high - 9.1
The diabetic nurse did say that it could be a case of as pregnancy progresses my body is finding it harder to break down the glucose so I could eat perfectly well and still need more and more Insulin!
Good job I had the GTT, although if I had it at 24 weeks as planned it might not have been picked up cos it was only just over at 28 weeks and my urine is always clear
Beenie - hugs to you! I think with him going to tell ex everything you're better off without him permanently. What right does he have to do that?!
NMS - what u up 2? I see you!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
