Harley I've been living in absolute terror that someone would choose the name/s we've chosen! In the end though we'd use it regardless. First name after one of my relatives, middle name for one of his.

And guess what the no good excuse of a husband did to me? Took BOTH my car keys! True, I can't drive because it hurts, but still, taking the keys to make sure that I don't is a bit extreme! And it's sitting right outside and she is saying that she misses me and everything...

Part of the reason I don't want a c-section is the no driving for 6 weeks!
I can't cope without my little car :D

I found bolognaise in the freezer so going to have that with a tattie. Then it's a real dinner.

What to do tonight. I'm thinking lots of tv, my manicure set, bath with salt scrub, face mask etc, girly music blaring :D

Well I'm home and I'm not back in the office until 1st March 2010!!!!

I got pressies, even though I'm going back on Monday to go out for tea! I thought they would have waited until then!

Glam - hope you managed to work through your work issues - it's probably too late but I would keep it formal too, just so there is no way to comeback.

Love the dress ladies - I personally prefer clothes which are fitted around the bump - I agree too it's a very versatile dress :)

Tia - glad you managed to get somewhere sorted for the boys - I guess you can't blame DH for not booking considering your little miss won't make her mind up :p

I know!!! Thats why I am so hoping to have this induction (or for my early labour to move it's butt into full on labour). Tried to keep going but the SPD is back and I howl when changing gears, not so good when coming up to a roundabout and I don't want to brake cos I know it'll hurt!

So annoying too as we have 2 cars and I'm not using any of them!

NMS, she has been told to just wait till Sunday. Legs are crossed!

Congratulations Skinty :j- I always felt you would have a girl too but really don't know why! So pleased everything went (almost!) the way you wanted and she arrived safely at home.

My maternity tops (one topshop and one next) arrived from ebay today and I'm afraid they fall into the smocky-flowy-type catagory. I was a 12 before but my bump keeps changing shape so varies between looking like a ewge beer gut and a proper bump. On the 20 wk scan the sonographer said bubs was lying horizontally across my tummy so that may have something to do with it. Also have anterior placenta:confused:I think he's moved since then though.

Oh btw does anyone get really, really low down wriggling (almost as if baby is on the way out!)? Never got this at all with DD but was getting this all day yesterday - I know it sounds daft but I can almost feel it in my rear end like I'm sitting on the movement if you see what I mean - it's really weird and does feel a bit icky.

Had my hair cut this morning and then went to pay with my debit card but it was declined 3 times! Had a massive panic as I knew I wasn't overdrawn and wages go in today. On looking at my statement I found a few dodgy transactions to autotrader (I dont even have a car) where they were taking money out then putting it back in. Rang the bank and they said that they'd stopped the card as a number of suspect transactions were attempted yesterday for like 71p and £1. The lady at the bank said they often do this before trying the big stuff:eek: She said I should get the Autotrader money back and could have been much worse but it's shaken me a bit to be honest.
  • Congrats skinty!

Hope to be joining you on the home birth front in Sept!

Just been doing some indepth excel calcs on my income during ML - and I think we're gonna be ok - phew! We only have 2 months when I am on SMP only and am pretty hopeful we can manage to cover those two... especially if interest rates stay where they are (we're on a tracker :D ) Have also calculated it on hubby's basic salary and so any commission is extra, as is payment for my KIT days, so the situation may end up being better. Am feeling a lot more optimistic :D

This all depends on us restraining ourselves on the credit card front... we can manage ok on our incomes if only we don't get the CCs out - when am on ML it's even more important so would be good to get into good habits now (though also be nice to have a bit of a final splurge while we still can - meals out, cinema etc) Hmmmm...

Oh no Fidget, what a pain in the !!!! Still, it's good that you caught it so quickly, although it infuriates me that you have to call the bank to find out why the card's stopped rather than them calling you to say, Hey, we've seen some weird transactions, can you confirm they're yours please?

I do get wriggling all the way down, and I can feel what seems to be a little hand sliding down my insides. I find that really freakish, actually. It always feels like I'm only supposed to talk about the good parts of being pregnant - but that starfish sort of feeling all the way inside makes me cringe a bit.
