Was pretty good thanks GISI.
First week of four so mostly about posture and exercise. Pelvic floor and the like. Lasted just under an hour and was a proper physio taking the class so I'm guessing that she knew what she was talking about.
Been doing pelvic floors as and when I remember but not nearly enough reps or for long enough or often enough. I was feeling really smug that I was doing something up until then. Must try harder. Think I will do it whilst cleaning my teeth. Maybe then I'll remember a bit more often.
How long are you planning to be off before baby arrives? I was going to leave 4 days before but am seriously considering getting the last 2 or 3 weeks off. Though, if she does come early that will be taken out of my hands I guess.

Still no news from skinty thinking now her homebirth didn't go to plan and she ended up in hospital, hope that's not the case and she is just really busy with bubs!!!
Just found out today that I might get two more scans as I am under consultant care, my friend was under cc too and got a scan at 28 and 32 weeks. Excited about that but still a bit upset that dd is still keeping my pregnancy secret from her friends as she doesn't want anyone to know!!!! God knows what they are thinking of my rapid weight gain lol.

Hope no one shouts at me, as the 5th film has been out for ages.

I'm having six weeks off, Harley. Two weeks holiday which I have to take before mat leave, then four weeks ML before baby is due. To be honest, if I was in a job where I wasn't on my feet all day I would probably just take the two weeks hols before EDD but my job is pretty physically demanding so I don't think I could go much further. I also have a 30 minute motorway drive each way, which can be longer depending on traffic so I'm not sure if I'd be able to manage that right up until due date.
For anyone who already has babies, which nappies did you find best for newborns? I'm trying to buy a couple of bits each week with the shopping so I have less to buy when I am [STRIKE]poor[/STRIKE] on mat leave.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Has anyone had the Emma's Diary Argos vouchers? I e-mailed them to say I hadn't heard anything and, after a bit of a kerfuffle, they managed to get me logged in and credited with the points required to redeem for the vouchers. :T
However...it is not actually a voucher for £40, as the site leads you to believe . It is actually 6 coupons for money off when you spend so much on specific items:
£5 off £50 on highchairs
£5 off £50 on car seats
£5 off £25 on Fisher Price toys
£5 off £50 on bouncers
£10 off £150 on travel systems
£10 off £100 on cots / cot beds
This is all very well if you are expecting your first baby and need these things, but if you already have them...
Just thought I'd let people know, especially as people (in previous version of this thread) were looking at furniture etc and waiting months for the vouchers.
There is other stuff you can redeem the points on but a lot of it is so you can get % discount off at different websites. :sad:MSIQ = 158 :j0 -
GISI, I used tesco premature then pampers newborn. Wasn't keen on tesco newborn as there seemed to be loads of extra nappy. They are wide (but the prem were excellent).
Asda own nappies are good for DS2, more absorbant than pampers. Newborn ones look good too.
Huggies always seemed too wide whereas pampers seem more suited to long babies. The boys are tall and skinny.
This time I have some pampers some huggies and soem asda own newborn to try and see what's best.0 -
rsharp, I was thinking about them earlier. What a rip off! Glad I never got them sent to me now would have caused a rant.0

Thanks Tia. So far I have some Pampers and some Huggies so maybe I will try some own brands. They do seem much cheaper.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
