CSH - I went to Bo'ness once on a mystery club night (oh I remember my long lost youth!). We got on a bus from Glasgow and didn't know where we were going and it ended up on a steam train in Bo'ness (I think - I was probably a bit the worse for wear!). The train just went back and forth along a wee track with a DJ on it, and you could get off at a bit that was a mini beach and there were decks etc there too! Didn't actually see much of Bo'ness though but it was a great night out! x
Sounds like you seen all we have to offer:rotfl: Its not a very exciting place!

Good Morning all.
Running, swimming, Yoga, Wii Fit!!! I'm exhausted sat at my desk.
Don't think there is possibly anymore room for this baby. I am uncomfortable, lying down, sitting, standing. I'm breathing really heavily and sound like some huge fat person - which i probably am. All i want to do is moan, moan, moan, oh and sleep too. Had some kind of bad dream last night, someone was trying to take my baby. But not a real person, some kind of demon - think i've watch too much Charmed / Buffy / Angel in my past. I was fighting to wake up to get away from it. Very strange indeed.
Have so much work to do, lots of shipments to arrange. Prefer it when i can do it all by email or fax, but today i have to actually pick up the phone and talk to people. World would be much better without customers. Sorry am very grouchy today. Will go away and will come back later, when i've woken up more and feel more my normal self.0 -
Wish I'd have kept up the running, maybe I wouldn't have got so fat then!! I think thats whats caused my big weight gain..not the fact Im eating more (Im not really) more the fact that I was very fit and active then all of a sudden just stopped. I told myself I would start up exercising again once the tiredness of 1st tri wore off but did I chuff
I can't wait till I can start on the treadmill again, whats the betting I won't be able to run 8miles though!love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
Mountain - I've been thinking about hynopbirthing, more for keeping me relaxed I guess, was thinking about buying a book and CD because I couldnt afford the classes, same with nct been recommended them but the extra £190 is too much
I might get :-

Nanc - the book/cd combo is probably the best way forward... we haven't personally found the classes any additional benefit and they are very expensive (it is a source of great annoyance that gets regularly mentioned in the lion camp!) My advice would be to give it a go - the principles behind it make sense - but to take the bits that work for you and leave the rest. It is very american (I don't find for example the relabeling of the words associated with PG/CB very helpful/necessary, and we prefer to focus on the practical techniques than the more 'spiritual' aspects)MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!
Girl Cub due 14th September0 -
Exercise - I go through stages of doing exercise, but never found something I am comfortable with. I would love to have gone swimming during pregnancy, but I honestly can't find a swimsuit to fit as my b00bs are humungous.
And I have spent a fortune on trainers/running shoes, but my feet still ache as I have high arches and nothing seems to support them. Even doing Body Combat classes would leave me feeling crippled half way through.
So since being pregnant, I haven't bothered. I don't care about the weight gain as I figure I will sort it out afterwards and I wasn't skinny to start, but I am concerned about general lack of fitness for going through labour!
Nanc - the boy hooded towel seems to have suddenly sold out! I have plenty of newborn bodysuits and stuff anyway, just can't wait until I can buy other stuff. Have put the wee red hoody in my basket as I figure that could do either, but I need to go and shower now and get my butt into gear so will come back to it later!
Got to take my car to get new tyres fitted before lunchtime, and then meeting my friend for lunch.0 -

Nanc-I think you have done amazingly well to keep up the running this long. I had to give up really early as my back was playing up. I do mean to get back into swimming though, so will definitely go a couple of times in my week off next week.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
